Diestractd Need input! Whats the PH and what do you do for PH?
What do you feed them?

I ph the water at 6.0 or a little above usually. I use the foxfarm ph down to manage this.
my ph meter broke the other day as well so I've changed to just using straight tap water until I can monitor the ph properly.
I'm growing in a supersoil mixture so I have been avoiding any runoff when watering.

From what I've been told, you don't PH your water with living soils... Usually you only filter your tap water to remove the chlorine and chloramine... many will disagree and think I'm crazy, but my water PH is at an 8 after I run through the filter...and I think my plants look pretty dang good! I'm in living soil and do not water till run off also. If you insist on PH'ing it, only PH it to a 7... let the soil do what it's supposed to do, all the microbes and fungi etc are natural PH balancers.

I had forgotten about that tbh...
I originally corrected the ph when they were seedlings, before being put into living soil. I guess I just kept the habit up even after the transplant.
so maybe some sort of nutrient lockout possible due to too low ph?

Using tap water unfiltered will kill your living soil, one must use something to kill the chloramine or chlorine from the water such as lemon juice before using it in living soil..

By chance do you have a ratio for mixing to prevent the death of the soil?

I personally would just start with a filter... I use a Boogie Blue Plus Filter I got off Amazon. I attach it to the faucet I use for watering and then attach a hose to it with my sprayer

I just added lemon juice then let it set for 12 hours to stabilize the PH, then PHed it with black strap molasses, and let it set for another 12 hours to be sure it is stable (I need to go down just a bit). Vitamin C also works as does almost any acid from what I find. I dont find real clear on just how much to use.

They do look a bit small from here, but remember the first thing they do is grow down into the soil. When they find what they have below they then grow up. In 1 - 3 more weeks they should start to flower. How big or small are these to be? Some autos dont get big at all, 18" is large for some, while others can go 48" or even more.

Baddfish4545 I do believe you found the slow growth issue. Tiny plant big space taking longer to get roots to spread. Try watering next start with this setup if you do it the same way, try just to water small circle around the outer leaf area then gradually move outward to get roots to spread insearch of water. The whole pot doesn't need water yet just the small area. For now just keep moist do your best not to " over love " that youngin

Thanks for the tip. Soon after I planted the seedlings I had a bad feeling my soil was too “heavy” and wanted to start over. Then read to much about watering and over watered. Lesson learned. I hope I get something out of them

Oh you will get lots out of them you did not mess them up it's fine. Just follow the less is more for now with water, make them search harder for it. After that give big drinks they'll love you

HELP ME!!!!
this is my first time growing I’m still learning and trying to pin point the signs and stuff but I don’t know what this is. It started to show and spread about a week ago and It’s only showing on these two leafs. I don’t know if the soil ph is off or if my fan is blowing to hard or if my plant has some type disease. I need help any suggestions?

Hi there. I'm old but only have one completed grow. Have you looked at the GWE main site's leaf problem identifier? Could you post a pic of more of your plant? Do you pH the water? It doesn't look like wind burn. Are you growing in coco coir or? Giving nutes? What strain, how old is the plant, and what size pots? Hopefully a more experienced grower will chime in, more info helps. Good luck!

Week 5 of flowering, unsure of the strain
2x4x5 tent with a 315w lec light.
I haven't fed anything since flowering except a little calmag due to being planted in a supersoil.
checked today and not sure what the weird browning of the bud is, the rh is in the 30-40s range and the Temps sit around 82F
also attached some photos of a healthy bud from the same plant.

Oof. I would think light/heat but I don't know your lights. I'm fighting to stay 80F/40% on the non-watering days so you wouldn't think mold. Hopefully some will weigh in later. GL!

She's a bit stretched out, but other than that she looks good to me. The stem will fatten up as she grows. Nice set-up BTW

Hi, we’ve got an outdoor plant that the stock is turning gray and the colas are sticky and gooey, the plant looks very weak and has been struggling for some time. Any ideas what this may be snd if it can be fixed? Thanks

Sorry, botrytis (bud rot) is not recoverable, anything that can kill it is way to strong for the plant. Keep it dry, no moisture on the area affected, do not let it spread to the buds as they will be ruined. If the trics are at least milky it may be time to harvest.
