U got bugs, turn the leaf over and watch with a magnifying glass. Neem oil mixed with water and sprayed on bouth sides of all leaves will do the trick u may do another treatment in a week if needed. Don’t spray buds.

I just got one of these but it claims to kill like EVERYTHING! Gnats, spider mites, flies, aphids, just about any bug on earth smaller than a horse... Sounds like it is WAY better than spraying, dusting and all that. Great for an enclosed space like a grow tent or room. Put it in for 12-24 hours and remove. I gather not good for populated spaces (like in your home). Use where human exposure is no more than 4 hours a day. Saw a note on another forum where a guy swears it does what it claims to do. Saw another note where someone used it to "clean" plants/clones or such from outside sources (like a quarantine). They claim it doesn't leave any residue on the plants. Run under $10 at Home Depot & elsewhere and good for 4 months. Anybody here ever use them?

Hi fellows!
I've got a yellowing problem progressing and I wonder whether I should increase my feeding rates (as earlier she was absolutely fine and I got low %of NPK in my ferts, like under 10).
Would appreciate if you can join the topic and take a closer look on the issue! Much love!
Hi there fellows! :) We were moved to a new growing spot at the age of 35 days (more tight space with more light added). Before that the growth was amazing with no

Checking your run off ppm is more about keeping salt build up down . Your run off could be 10x the feeding ppm and that doesn’t mean there is a bunch of nutes in the soil . More likely you have a bunch of salt left behind from the nutes .
-
Whoever is using liquid fertilizers even a little , chances from underfeeding are super low ! The nutrition deficiency will appear mostly because of the plant not able to pull those nutes from the medium because of : PH, low temperatures , overwatering , bad medium and etc ....

Hi everyone! This is my first post as I usually just do a search and usually someone has had my problem. I'm a Kentucky boy with my crop in the back yard. I planted some starts with seeds I got from ACE. 2 strains, 4 plants tilled soil that had compost. One plant died a horrible death about a week ago and I think it was squash bugs from our garden but I am posting a couple of pictures of the plant that was beside that one. I'm hoping someone can tell me what they see. Thanks

I need some help. I am a first-time grower. I am growing two Northern Lights auto flower. I have some discoloring on one of my plants and trying to figure out what it is. The second plant under the same conditions I don’t seem to be having issues with. In fact, the plant with the discoloring is growing faster than the one that looks healthy. I don’t know if I overwatered the young plants to early and being I am using Fox Farm Ocean Forest if it made it hot or if I am dealing with someone more serious like Mosaic. Below is what I am using in my setup. I have included 3 pictures of the plant in question and 3 of the one that looks good.
3x3x5 Grow tent
Fox Farm Ocean Forrest
3-gallon Fabric pots
Viparspectra 300W LED (started at 26 inches and worked down to 20 inches currently.
4inch carbon filter/outtake fan
One small oscillating tower.
One small 4inch fan near the intake angled slightly up
Temps 79-82 Day temps
Humidity 50-60%
Using tap water and PH down to 66 PhotosLast edited by AFsingledad; 09-01-2018, 05:58 PM.

Purple leaf tips, normal or P deficiency?!
I'm a few weeks into flower, first year growing and not sure if I'm dealing with a deficiency or if all is well. I am aware of the nutrient burn on some of the leaves but I feel I may be overdoing it due to fear of underfunding. This was a bagseed and if I'm not mistaken came from a bag of purple kush. Any feedback is appreciated! Growing in southern ontario and it is getting a little cooler at night as well.

I still think temp is a factor here. Not much you can do outdoors. Maybe a nice bed of mulch or some make shift cozies for the buckets. Unless you can put them in the dark in a warm room. Check on some ways to keep them warm otherwise.
If it's genetic it's okay but I don't think purple leaves photosythesize well. It's natural at the end of flower but you don't want it spreading too soon.

Hello guys, this is my first time grow.
The strain is blue cheese.
My problem is my plant seems unhealthy, sick, stunted growth, and has leave become brown (old leave & cotyledons). Pretty sad dont know why.
I have save speculation the plant get sick because of bugs, because i had record it on timelapse mode and see very little and tiny something white moving on my soil. I can't see them with my eyes, i only see them by timelapse video.
Im using AC (air conditioner) im set it on and off with
lowest temp: 26Celcius, and highest temp 34C.
Light: BULB LED 50W 4000lumens
Room: im using grow tent inside a room without any ventilation. Im only using fan inside the room.
you can see the pics from time to time, very slow grow, and have something tiny white lines on leaves.
Firsr cotyledons growth at 17th August, and now 6Sept almost full 3 weeks.
Please any comments, advices, anyhelp, i would love that.6 Photos

HELP new leaves and flower turned white.
I am in the Spokane Wa area which is a high plains desert. Think pine tree, mountains and deer.
I am fairly new to growing. This is y 3rd year. I grow outdoors. My soil is sandy and doesn't hold nutrients well.
I have 2 plants this year White widow and Black dog. They are flowering. I noticed today that the flowers and surrounding leaves are turning almost white. Its just a few on WW but on BD its every flower and I noticed yellowing fan leaves toward the bottom of the plant. The plants get watered every other day from our sprinkler system . I fertilize them every other day with half strength. I have been using Fox Farm
Tiger Bloom,Grow Big, and Big Bloom. When I saw signs of flowering start I stopped all but Big Bloom 0-0.5-0.7. Its fall here and the night are in the high 40's and 60s during the day. One stalk has some purple stems too. Can u help? Here's some pics Thank u - Lunar
Update. I was told it looks like iron deficiency. I got some iron and followed the directions. 2 days later nothing. Its looking worse. I folar fed it with iron today. Tested the PH one one side of the effected plant was 6.5 the other side was 7.5. The hole plant is a lighter green now. At a loss what to do. The plants are planted by each other. I stopped watering to let it dry out.

Okay, after a little research maybe its the start of a bad Zinc problem? That's about close as i found on here... but keep asking around I'm sure someone has seen this!
-
I think I have found the problem. I saw a pic that looked exactly like mine. It was Iron deficiency. So now is it nute block or why is it not getting iron? A suggestion was to flush it. (Didn't know u could if in the ground) so I gave it about 10 gal of water. We will see. Not sure how to correct a off PH with the plant in the ground. One side was 6.5 but on the opposite side was 7.5. I was told that could cause nute block.

Could top the whole area with peat moss with live mulch are something... garden lime mixed in it an or oyster shells.. something like that

Lunar, I don't use FoxFarms but, but looks to me like they are starving,
I grow organically, or try too.
But with all the nutrients I've used earlier, I used the 3parts all the way thru the grow.
Just using BigBloom is not enough, they are gonna need more than that.
Does FoxFarms have a feeding schedule?
I sure hope you get it fixed, those are nice plants.

I just started using the Big Bloom only when it started to flower. Before I used Tiger Blood, Grow Big and Big Bloom together half strength every other day. If it was starving then why is the other plant that is right in front of it be
healthy. It does have 3 flowers with the white but the rest of the plant looks awesome. Both plants have had the same nute, watering . Same everything.
So u think I should start back with with the feeding schedule I had before? The reason I changed to Big Bloom only is I read that when they flower they need a low nitrogen fert. If I remember right I think the isues started right when it started to bloom or shortly after it started.
-
Lunar , I would go by FoxFarms feeding schedule, whatever it says to use.
Pretty sure if FFarms is like most of the rest of the nutrient companies, you use all three until harvest.
Most companies have 3parts that you use,
Like Micro then Grow then Bloom.
I don't know what FFarms feeding schedule is but that's what you want to go by.
Nitrogen is what you need in veg, mostly.
I hope you get her fixed up, those are nice
plants, But BigBloom is not all you need to be using.
Ps, yeah, cooler temps sometimes changes the colors.Last edited by D.A.A.S.69; 09-16-2018, 12:06 AM.

Hey Lunar, is it possible that they had some nutrients spilled on them?
You can end up with some really bad light burn if that happens, since the Nutes act like tiny magnifying glasses if they get on leaves or buds while the sun is out. You can also get that from water if the ph is high or low, or if your water has other things in it, they can all cause leaf burn. One possibility at least.Organic Soil,

Lunar, is this a picture of how they look now ?
If it is they look fine to me, you just cut the nutrients out to early. That's why they are yellow looking.
They still need Nitrogen in flower, but not as much, that's why the doses are reduced in late flower.
Your plants are gonna be fine. They just need the other 2 nutes added back. They need all 3parts.
Check out FFarms nutrient schedule, and just use half strength whatever Ffarms, says to use.
Your gonna be ok.

D.A.A.S. I just took these pics this morning. The dark leaves happened after I folar fed it iron. A couple of people suggested my doing that.

Symptoms does sound like iron def.But if your using tap water ,you should have plenty of iron in your water, are you using cal-Mag too.
What did you do, dig a hole an put new soil in it, or just work up the soil that was in the hole. Most soils have plenty of iron in it, I think.
Only time I foliar anything is when my plants are young, and am trying to get the humidity up a little bit, an all i ever use is water for that.
I sure hope you get her fixed up, cause those are fine plants.
I really think if you go back to feeding all three parts, you will be fine though, but I could be wrong, been wrong before.
But if your using a 3part, you need to use all 3parts.
MegaCrop is a 1part nutrient, that is super easy to use, dirt cheap too, and works as good as any, they even giving free samples away, Guest can tell you all about the MegaCrop.
GoodLuck Lunar

I am using water from our well. I thank u for all ur help.I took someones suggestion and foliar fed it with iron thinking it would help with the deficiency. Its hard to know what do do when there are so many suggestions. I was desperate so I tried most of the suggestions. I will follow what u said . If nothing else have learned a lot . I will get some MegaCrop. I have only about a month left of growing season so will try it next year. I cover my plants when it get close to frosting . That extends it a little. D.A.A.S. Did u see the pics from today? Oh and no I am not using cal-Mag. Should I be?
Just the Fox Farm fertilizers.
