Earliest you have seen a photoperiod plant show sex

I have a green crack plant going from bag seed from a dispensary. It started showing calyxes around 3 weeks and started throwing out the hairs at nearly 4 weeks. Is that normal? Everything looks fine. Just a normal calyx with the hairs. Don't think I need to show pics.

It's a great indicator that the plant is healthy and hormonally ready to flower.

Sweet. I was hoping it might be an auto flower bag seed. Lol. Ig it's time for the flip! Thank you!

The earliest I've seen pre-flowers is 3 weeks, but that's young for a lot of strains! I wrote a little about preflowers here if you're interested! If you end up seeing more than 2 pistils/hairs at the base of each leaf, it's a sign your plant may actually be flowering, as opposed to just showing pre-flowers. But if it's just 1-2 pistils per bud site, that's likely just pre-flowers

That clears it up for me. Just pre flowers then. Thank you!
