A low RH in the room will make them frosty as. A lot has to do with genetics of course.
I haven't tried low overnight temps, I keep them just 1 to 3⁰C cooler of a night. I haven't read much about that apart from an increased stretch given wider temp variances.

Bluey I'm in Canada in winter so my flower tent is crazy dry and they love it. I'm also cold shocking at night which imo is definitely increasing trichomes.

Low RH in the room mid to late flower of 50 to 40%, the lower the later. Last two weeks as low as you can go. Temps early flower 24⁰C to late flower 22⁰C, measured air temps in room, not under the light. Strong airflow. Full spectrum lighting with buds in full light.
There is a proven direct link between low humidity and low temps mid to late flower with high THC and high bud density.

I've been learning and sharing here for a few years now. My grow is great. My friends always end up at my house lol.
So. I have a really nice 2x4 sog going.
I have a beautiful frosty, gooey strain. Apple Truffle Breath.
How can I increase the terpenes. It is so worth the extra effort. It smells so good already.
How can I take it over the top?Last edited by FurnaceBoi; 02-26-2025, 11:21 PM.

Agreed. They look like what they should at the stage you are at.

Iff all things are equal, genetics. Give it time. You'll either get them, or you won't. The only thing you can do is worry about it.

I have one !
What leads to the development of sugar leaves in Flowering ?
I have 2 plants, same age, same environment, same nutrients/water schedule both in 3rd week of flower... One has the leaves in the budlets covered in tricomes, And the other one has same size budlets, but not as much sugar in the leaves, so to speak. Very little really.
