Willyd you should use just spring water and leave the components of the active soil to do their job naturally. The greatest benefits of your medium is that it is complete as -is. Do NOT over water. It is EASY TO OVERWATER. This will cause pre-mature yellowing of your foliage weeks later. Any of the producers of living soil, especially Kindsoil, will adamantly tell you ‘ NOTHING BUT WATER’
by the way, distilled water may have high concentrations of metallic compounds depending on how this water was processed. Spring water is , well....from a spring

When transplanting seedlings from fluro globe set up to main system with 600 W HPS globes, what's the best way to 'baby' them along? half strength nutrient? reduce wattage of HPS globes via digital ballists? I'm having significant trouble working this part of the process out. Cannot find a detailed write up of how to best manage this part of the process. Please help.

Not sure how much of that made sense I just got off work.

So for the fox farm nutes your likely just starting veg with the grow big bottle. 1/4 strength. Start with 1/4 cups and work your way up.
-
Start with the micro then micro for the first 1/4 feeding for about a week. Then micro and And grow for the 4 weeks of veg along with cal magi of course then the grow and bloom for the flower. I start my seedling watering with 1/4 cup and water about every two days depending on pot weight and go up from there as she starts drinking more. For the record I start my seedlings in a solo cup though so not sure how the pot size will affect thee amount of water u feed her. I like my coco to pretty much dry out before I feed again. Coco is awesome like that provides a lot more oxygen for yourself roots if you don’t soak it

Thank you for your feedback. Do I use all 4 starting with Calimagic first? And how often per day or per week?

I don’t use ff nutrients. But I feed my seedlings what’s scheduled for first week of veg but only at about 1/4 strength of what’s stated till it starts taking off 2 or three growth nodes and I switch to week one feed schedule also a coco grower. Gotta remember coco has no nutrients to offer so you gotta stay on top of it.happy growing

24/7 means 24/0 7days a week
And safely female means it comes from feminized seeds.. and the only way a plant will germ is if you drastically damaged a plant or put certain chemicals on it

Drekthar Although I currently use RO water, I used my tap water for dwc a couple of grows (All last year and part of this year). My tap water tested at 115PPM, I constantly had what I thought was PH problems which is the reason I switched to RO water. In the end, the problem was I was using very little cal-mag when using tap and 1/3 or half (Matching the ratio of ferts I'm currently using based on feeding charts). Still had the same problem.
I separated the plants, continued feeding as normal on one and increased the CAL MAG to full strength (2ml per litre) and the plants exploded. My point is that I should of been using a higher ratio of CAL MAG when using tap, and the full load when using RO regardless of what you are doing with the nutrients.
Whew....
