Current grow_ Gold Mine (Heavyweight Seeds). March 1- April 1. Progression of plant development. Growth medium: coco, grow stones, boiled rice hulls, worm castings. Lights_ 2 Fluence VYPRx LED's. Room: 3.5x6'. Humidifier/ dehumidifier. 3 fans. These girls started out pretty darn slow and I was getting worried they were going to be much smaller than expected. But starting in March they started to take off and seem good now. Few weeks left to go. Will post some pics of the finished harvest when they are done. Also going to post the other two strains growing with these_ Ayahuasca Purple and S.A.D. Auto.

Apologies for being so unorganized_ somehow the progression of the photos for these post got out of order....but the descriptions or text on the pics themselves should make it all come together.

I wish I knew what I did to make these girls kick it in gear...This grow I changed lights, nutrients and even the grow medium a bit (added rice hulls and worm castings to the coco & grow stones). Not complaining though! Both the Ayahuasca Purple and the Gold Mine are flowering at speed_ they are suppose to be fast flowering but I haven't seen anything like this before. These plants are only just entering week 6-7 since the change to 12/12. Dang, I think I got high from just breathing the fumes from the S.A.D. I just harvested! Better get some more jars soon! Don't know if I really want to wash my hands...or not. Love that fragrance. Thanks for the comments and best growing to all!

BUMMER! this morning I just found 3-5 nana's on one of the Gold Mine plants.....was going to let it go for another week but now think I better take it down even though most of the other plants in the room are also going to be finished in a week or less. All the plants have cloudy trichomes and at least 50-70% orange pistils but hardly any amber ones. Usually I wait until UI have about 20% amber....
What do you folks recommend? All comments appreciated! Pics attached....2 PhotosCurrent grow_ coco based medium, Fluence LED lights, AIT, 5 gallon planters,

It happens to just about every grower eventually! First things first, immediately and carefully remove all bananas. If it's possible to separate this plant from the rest, that's definitely your best option! If it were me, I'd harvest it right away. When a plant puts out nanners, I feel like it's telling you it's ready to go!

Nebula_ thanks for setting my mind at ease...well at least as much as possible. :~) I tried to clip the nana's off (3 on one cola two on another cola and one on a third cola)_couldn't get more than about half of each one and after a few of those got the feeling I could be doing more harm than good. I did remove the plant from the grow area before I attempted that. They were just buried too deep in the buds to get any more without making a mess of things. But I don't have another area where I can put a light over it so I'm gonna take your advise, put it in a different room and harvest in the morning. Oh yeah_so I was reviewing the tutorial on harvesting and it mentions that some people put their plants in the dark for 24-48 hrs before harvesting....do you think if I did this it might help it develop a bit more before taking her down?Current grow_ coco based medium, Fluence LED lights, AIT, 5 gallon planters,

I'll do that! It will be interesting to see if the buds continue to mature in the dark or if she continues to produce any more nana's. I think I'm going to cut the light and water for the next 48hrs and see what happens.
