    Heat resistant strains?

    Hi,
Are there any strains (more specifically by nirvana seeds) that can withstand a LA summer (about 100f, maybe 105f at the worst) in my garage in a 3x3 vented grow room?

I don't know specific strain but I do know seedfinder.eu has its strain database with climate tags for each individual climate. So all you have to do is type some coordinates longitud and latitud and it will tell you what strains are suited best

      Here's the link
Find cannabis/marijuana strains for specific climatic zones, according to the actual Klever/Frankenberg specification system.

I just tried that and got a list of strains but it doesnt say anything about heat problems, the problem is the hot air being vented in the garage with no ventalation and the summer heat won't help with that

I wrote a little about heat-resistant strains if you wanted to check it out! I know that with Nirvana, their Kaya Gold strain is better able to withstand the heat than most strains. However, even the most heat-resistant strains won't grow as fast in 100°F weather as they would in 80°F weather. So you still want to try to control the heat in the grow space as best you can

Well at night I remember last year it being around 70f and if I use my lights then I should be near optimal growing conditions for 6pm-6am and a bit hot for a few hours on 6pm-12pm so hopefully it'll still grow quickly just be hot in its dark periods. I purchased some Black Jack seeds from nirvana and they shipped 3 weeks ago and might be taken in customs or just taking a while, if it got lost I might be able to change my order before they send another package out to Kaya Gold. That strain looks nice and this is my second grow so a tough strain should be good for mistakes even thought it does have a lower yield. If I do end up getting my order of Blackjack (which is a strong indica) will I be able to grow in these conditions (~100-110f daytime 65-75 at night in summer) with a indica? I only ask because I read indica is less heat resilient and I don't want to waste any seasons I could be growing.

Yes, in general Indicas are more heat-sensitive. That being said, I've grown Blackjack in hot conditions (I live in Southern California) and it seemed to do okay Love that strain!
