    Grafting to speed propagation

Has anyone ever tried to graft marijuana onto any other type of rootstock? I'm curious if the grafting of marijuana to other rootstocks would increase the percentages? If grafting two different rootstocks be beneficial for hardiness?

There's a few threads on that, bottom line it sounds fun but all you end up with are two different plants growing off the same roots but with no apparent effect towards each other. You could grow a multitude of different strains off the same plant. Haven't found any real use for that.

I was hoping to start vegetative growth early since it did not have to build its own root system. Roots that grow in the native Earth would be able to process nutrients and not have burning issues. I would almost bet that pest problems would deteriorate also.

I am looking for someone that's a lot better grower than I am to try out this theory though. If you could kill all the parent plant after your graft heels I'm hoping to not have two plants competing against each other.

I would really like everyone's idea on the subject positive and negative I don't want to go into this half cocked
