    Introducing nutrients

My seedlings are starting week 2 (day #8) planted in fox farm soil. When should I start introducing fox farm liquid nutrients? And when I do give them nutes do I start at "week 1" on the feeding schedule, even though plant is older than 1 week? Thanks for answers in advance!

You are probably fine for another week or so if you are using Ocean Forest or Happy Frog, but I doubt it would hurt to start now. Start light. About 2 teaspoons per gallon every other watering which I believe is the "week 1" schedule. Don't forget the pH. That is just as important.

The Fox Farm soil mixes have nutrients built in so I would let them go another week_ just use water about PH 6.5. As Nebula has mentioned in the tutorials its not a bad idea to let the PH range a bit between 6.0 and 7.0 for soil_ different nutrients are best absorbed at different PH ranges, within the 5.7-6.7 range. PH the water after you mix the nutrients when you start using them. And like Newf suggested start off slow with 1/3-1/2 strength nutrients. I learned before that if you start to get root issues due to nutrient lockout then it takes a lot of water to flush a soil mix.so be careful not to get carried away with the nutrients. Cheers!
