For me first because they are easy and I like easy. 2nd, I think you really should check in to the "Potent" factor. It is not a quick and easy procedure because of all the different types, strains, whatever you want to call it. I looked at a few auto and feminised seeds strains that I could find - at least with the same name and the specs on the seeds were the same as far as thc ranges. But you should probably look at that when you decide to buy of course do we believe in everything we read?

In my opinion. The reason you haven't seen any autoflowering win a cup is because breeders sacrifice a lot of traits in order to suppress photoperiod genes to be able to flower besides having to make hermaphrodite females and then stabilize them as much as they can not to have hermaphrodite offspring.

Initially, I use autos to fill any open spaces in ANY tent , as autos will grow without regard to the light schedule- so any harvest was a bonus.

Currently, I am dialing in a perpetual grow with auto's, which will allow a 2 plant harvest every 3 weeks or so for about 15 grows a year. Since you can run them from 12/12 to 24/0 you can use this flexibility to control environment with no additional energy expense for heat/AC.

And then there is the window sill grow, lol: http://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum/...ew-england-usa

    Why Grow Autos?

I have been researching autos, and I am wondering why people choose to grow them. Is it because they are fast? Mostly I have read that they aren't as potent as photoperiod plants, and I don't find any autos that have won cups, so can I please get some feedback on this topic? I would like to try growing them, so I'd like to know which are the best strains, and why.
