    HELP! Hello! Need help

Hey guys! I'm new here. Need your advice
    My first grow
    Afghan kush
    Coco coir
27 days from seed and i think it's slow, had some nutrient problems but i fix it, growing under 4x23w 5000k CFL, is it because not enough light?

U definitly Don't have enough light!!!!! U need around 10,000lumens per sq foot on average. I use 16,000lumens per sqf. With cfls lumens are the best way to messure but anything else it's better to use par value or moles of light. Looks like u got nute burn with the brown edges

I suggest going to GWE and search lights as they relate to your environment.
        what nutrients are you using?
a 2x4 T5 can see that little girl thru veg.
        good luck to you

You're stuck in seedling stage. Transplant and give light. Lots of light.

More light usually helps but there has to be something else wrong besides light. 4 23w cfls is enough light that the plant should have been doing ok and growing faster than it has. It would be tall and stretchy if it wasn't getting enough light. In my opinion something has severely stunted that plant early in it's life. Possibly too many nutrients.

I agree they usually get spindly. It might just be one of those mutant dwarfs I have seen.

What is just plain wrong? I'm not sure too many nutrients caused the stunting, but I agree with Burny for the most part.

You can get a piece at the hardware store called a doubler that screws into your light bulb socket and turns 1 light bulb socket into 2 sockets. Then you can double your lights.

Thank you for replies. I think i over-water and over-feed early in it's life. I use distilled water now with GH nutes. Do i need to add cal mag every watering?

I completely agree. It just looks a little overwatered to me, but honestly I don't think it looks that bad. Now that it's bigger it'll be easier to avoid overwatering. I think it just needs a little time to get going again and it'll start growing fast. What is your watering schedule?

I agree with the others that you want more light down the road, but I also agree with Burny that you have enough for such a small plant, so I don't think lack of light is causing your current symptoms.

If you're using distilled water you definitely want to add a Cal-Mag supplement, because distilled water doesn't contain any micronutrients (which you'd normally find in spring water or tap water). Generally you'd add a Cal-Mag supplement with every other watering, but considering you're using distilled water you may want to use it every time. Cannabis loves calcium!

Your seedling does not look that bad, it just needs some TLC! I've definitely seen seedlings look a lot worse from overwatering/heat and bounce right back

This. Your plant is s month old and it's still a seedling.

Yes, and as far as stunted seedlings go, it's not that bad. It can be saved. Not everyone's grow goes perfectly, but that doesn't mean you should just give up on a plant that is still green and growing, especially if it's your only plant.

Small runt plant...it happens...mutant genes..I just threw one away about a month ago...it was a waste of time and care...not all things are created equal...I would cull it and start over...

Easy to say things like that when you are already a successful grower. You didn't even try to help this person or answer their question. I thought that was what this forum was for.

No big deal..it is what it is...

Actually there was a little argument over that. Maybe you didn't read it all.
