    Can't diagnose sickness

    Hi guys,

so i have germinated 3 seeds and they have been growing around a week now, there under a 600watt omega hps light and have been from the beginning as I was unsure what light to use as it was my first grow.

Ive notice the leaves are going yellow and some of the edges are crumpled up? There fed on the ph perfect range from advanced nutrients micro grow and bloom, I don't really over water I'm just unsure what to do?

    could anybody help.

How far away is ur light? What's ur doseage of nutes and how old is ur plants since u seeded them? Nutes shouldn't be given till week 2. Also u need WAY MORE areogation in ur soil (WAY MORE PERLITE!!!!) if u have photos when u transplant make sure ur soil is 1/3 perlite or more

Plants need an MH bulb during grow phase. HPS is for flower.

U could be giving them nute stress. Stop useing nutes till week 2 then start up again on a low doseage. 77degrees is perfect light should be 25inchs or so above plants.

Transplant her to a bigger pot use atleast 1/3 perlite and flush her with plain phed water. Keep ur 600w hps a t 25inchs above plant and keep the temp in 70's and RH 50-70 if possible

Are you in soil? I'm coco you want to add nutrients from the beginning (since it doesn't contain any) but in soil it's usually unnecessary since the plant can use up what's in the soil for several weeks.

From looking at the seedling in regular light, it seems like they might be hot or having a little trouble at the roots. It wouldn't surprise me if moving the light further away does the trick. Is there good air circulation in there? How well does the water drain, and does it take a long time for the soil to dry between watering?

But honestly if that's the worst seedling it still looks pretty good!

Yeah circulation is good to be honest, I'm in soil and yes it takes a while to dry up, it drains pretty well to be honest, do you think I should move to a bigger pot? Only thing is I only have 60litre ones around

I wouldn't move to a bigger pot because the bigger the pot, the longer it takes to dry out. If anything, I think the seedling needs a little time to grow into this container. The soil looks a little too wet in the pictures, so you might try giving them a little less water at a time until they start growing faster and the soil dries out faster. You want to be watering every 2-3 days at this age for the fastest growth, so if it's taking longer than that to dry out it might need less water at a time until the seedling gets a little bigger and is drinking more. I've noticed it can be hard to get the watering just right at this age, but it usually gets a lot easier as they get older! You mentioned the temperature is 25°C where the seedlings are, which seems like a good temperature especially if they're getting a nice gentle breeze.

Those seedlings must be imagining they sprouted on the planet Vulcan with that 600 watt HPS glaring overhead. That's a waste of electrons, and money. Save the HPS for the flowering stage. Get a fixture of 8 T5s 6500 Kelvin tubes where you can switch off 4 of them. That's plenty of light for these plants at this stage.
