Hello guys ! Help me please

Hello ! How are you ?
I am a pretty experimented weed smoker
I do smoke a lot and really want to experiment the art of growing my own

First of all, let me be honest here, i've never grown anything, would it be weed, tomato, or any kind of plants
I'd like so much to start with white widow, blue haze, or grape skunk, or pretty much any "out of the box" one (like this sweet sweet vietnamese black, so beautiful)
Second thing, i'll plant it indoor, in a box, and would like to be as discreet as possible

Could you please help me on this one ?
Like, giving me advices, stuff to get, and which kind of those weeds would be the best (or easiest) to grow ?

Is this possible to grow two different kind in one single box ? What can i do for it to not exceed my box size ? How to reduce odors ? Dimensions of the box ?

Hello! I made a page that sort of explains all the steps of an indoor cannabis grow if you wanted to check it out!

But basically it goes like this:

Step 1: Choose Your Place to Grow - Closet, grow tent, etc
Step 2: Choose Your Grow Light - There are a few different options,
Step 3: Choose Your Growing Medium
Step 4: Get Cannabis-Friendly Nutrients
Step 5: Get Cannabis Plants (Seeds or Clones)
Step 6: Germinate Your Seeds / Start Your Clones
Step 7: Vegetative Stage - Only Stems and Leaves
Step 8: Flowering Stage - Buds Start Growing!
Step 9: Harvest Your Cannabis
Step 10: Dry & Cure Your Buds Like a Professional

You can grow two different strains together, but if they're very different it can be tough. You can keep plants small a couple ways. With regular cannabis plants, they will keep growing bigger until you "tell" them to start making buds (which you do by giving them long nights that are 12+ hours). So you can let the plants get big, or you can get the plant to start making buds when it's very little. Despite that, some strains naturally tend to be more tall or short, and if you're looking for short you want to get a short strain.

There are also auto-flowering strains which naturally stay small, and start making buds when they're young, and don't need special light schedules.

There's a few different ways to try to control the smell. As far as dimensions of your grow box, it depends on the grow light you use. I you have a very short space, you want something like fluorescent lights since they can be kept very close to our plants. You'll get far better yields with more powerful grow lights, like LED or HPS or LEC grow lights, but even the smallest ones need to be kept 1 foot away or more so they're not good for short spaces.

I'll pretty much go for auto flowering ones, and as i told you, i'm pretty interested in "exotic" strains, like vietnamese black, or colored and tasty strains like grape ape
How can i know if they're not okay to be cultivated together ?
For the smell i will certainly use a carbon filter

Welcome mayuhiko. You'll find pretty much all the info you could ever need on Nebula's website, just click above. Add that to browsing some grow journals on here and you'll have a really great head-start.

Strain will dictate color, taste, effects etc. rather than nutes. There are some supplements for late flowering that purportedly add subtle flavors.

You definitely want to start with seeds, nearly everyone has a horror story from clones. There's a breeder in Spain called Mephisto that really focuses on exotic auto strains ... http://www.mephistogenetics.com/

I'm finishing up my first grow, I have experience growing "things" but that is outside in a garden, I know you said you have no experience growing anything and with that in mind here is my $.02.

FIRST READ THE TUTORIALS FOUND ON THIS SITE, THEN re-read, and then refer back to the tutorials, and then ask your questions here.


I don't know if those seeds are easy to grow or not. But if you stick with auto's, then there is no need for a light change, just let them on 24/7 or 20/4 -- they also will generally ending up being about the same size, small in height.

I do know, Northern lights auto's and some others are really easy to grow, because I haven't killed mine yet, in fact they are thriving.

If you are looking for easy -- look up Kind Soil and follow their directions, you really won't have to worry about nutrients, just ph on your first grow.

So what you do have to worry about and look into:

First -- no matter what type of plants or what medium your grow in, I know budget sometimes is a big concern, and only you can determine that.

2nd what I see you missing, unless I missed your list is:

Something to PH your water -- I recommend the bluelab ph pen, I started with the well what are they called like a dye kit and although that worked well for me, I eventually invested in the Bluelab pen.
Checking the PH of your water is probably one of the top 5 things you should do.
Along with the Ph testing stuff you will probably need some way to raise or lower the PH of your water supply. If you go with the Kind Soil you have to use citric acid to lower your PH, not the genereal stuff most people use. So you will need to buy other stuff , not expensive but more stuff.

Fans, (maybe a couple) to circulate the air in your tent, for a couple of reasons, like keeping a gentle breeze on your plants to make them stronger, getting fresh air in there to replace the co2 your plants used, and to mix up the heat and humidity.

Heat and humidity -- depending on your environment, you will most likely need to control it some way -- heat before cold usually seems to be a problem, and raising and lowering the humidity can also be an issue. Most likely you will not run into those problems until you get set up and running, but be prepared to spend more money.

A thermometer/ humidity gauge of some sort.

For your equipment list -- others here have more experience in tent size and lights and stuff - hopefully you will get a few comments from them.
But whatever you decide to buy, get familiar with the components.

If u want small plants with little work autoflowers are the way to go! I would also highly sugest growing a very easy strain like white widow blueberry or something like that till u get better. This site has a lot of info but if u got any questions feel free to ask

I think that white widow blueberry may be a good strain to start and will maybe start it along with purple auto, or another one that may seem a bit harder to grow
