Hello I found this bug on my plant and I was wondering what it was? I took it out and flushed it down the toilet. It was quite hot today in the grow room. The high was 88 F but I got it to 78 F and I am keeping a close eye on it.

Thank you I have had carpet beetles in the past but I think it was the high temperature that attracted them.Originally posted by BuddMarsh View PostIt looks like a Burying Beetle
Thank you I thought thats how the leaves were supposed to lookOriginally posted by NebulaHaze View PostI'm not certain of the bug but I don't see any sign it's eating your plant! The plant does look a little heat stressed, but otherwise it looks great!
. I have pulled the lights up a bit yesterday and today the leaves are reaching towards the light is that normal? The lights are currently 4 inches away from the top of the plant

They look good to me in that new pics! It's just that the edges of the leaves almost looked like they were tipping up a little in the first pic.
Heat stress can cause the leaves to "taco" and edges to tip up

It's normal for them to "reach" upwards. In fact, that's the sign of a healthy, fast-growing plant!
