    Heat stress / Light steers

    Hello dear friends!

It is my first grow in Box. (0.6x0.6 height 0.9 meter)
I had 4 seeds, which germinated successfully. For the beginning I had only one 40W CFL.
After about 1 week, when they grew a little bigger. I decided to add more light,
    So I added 4 (40w CFL) and 1 (120W CFL) 240W TOTAL.

After that I checked them In about 10 hours (all this time the lights were tuned on)
When I opened the box I felt heat. And the pots were totally dried. (I watered them 2 days ago)
I have exhaust fan system but I see that it is not strong enough.

This is how they look now, ( look at lower leaves in pics)

I think that it is heat stress or maybe too much light for the seedlings, the distance between plant an cfl,s were about 8 cm.
after that I removed some light and left only 120W and 1 40w CFL and now the temperature in box is ok.

What you think will they recover? or how much time they need to return in normal condition.

    thanks in advance!

Less than a day to recover I would say. Just make sure the temps don't go over 30 on the root zone. You will need all the light you have to flower but for now a few bulbs will do. I run a closet grow with CFLs and I keep them around 30 cm away when that young. At least 10 cm away all veg. Then in flowering you can get them as close as you please

      Looks like a watering issue.

I would suggest pots at least double that size minimum, cos if you`ve got perlite your water retention is going to be reduced which is the preferred way to go about it. Also, roots grow quick as does the central tap root and those pots could catch you out I feel by causing root bunching and stunting....crunched up leaves can also reflect root issues. Air bags will greatly assist...I`d just get those into 5 gallon bags, stabalise them, drastically increase the light and take it from there. I look forward to seeing your grow

            PaganRich thanks again!

Im planning to replace pots this weekend. They look healthy right now. As for lights I think I will add some more CFLs day by day not to stress them again.
And also on Saturday they will be 2 weeks old and Im planning to start giving them nutrients.
