HELP! Partner bailed i don't know what to do!

Hi guys, so my partner decided to bail on me 5 days in to this grow! I have absoloutley no idea what I'm doing and I've spent around 1300 pound and I seriously don't want to lose out on this I've planted 3 white widow crossed with big bud seeds, germinated and they sprouted about 4 days now, I was told all sorts of stuff so currently there under a 600watt omega light spectrum bulb..I feed when soil is dry and doesn't feel moist with 2ml of the micro nutrients from advanced nutrients per litre of water. The light is on a timer for 18 on 6 off? Can somebody please help me get through this grow! This is my first grow and I'm really unsure if these are healthy looking?

Step 1: take a deep breath, calm down its weed not rocket science....
Step 2: check out the main site, growweedeasy.com read all of the articles by then you should have a good grasp on how you want to grow, every grower has their own style and preferences (you need to find yours!)
    Grow and good luck

Again every grower has their own style...

Lights, nutes, media, training can all can be customized, even grow to grow.

Welcome to the forum Asho! You are in for some fun, kinda like a roller coaster ride sometimes, but always a learning experience. I'm only on my third grow now, but I learned soooooo much on the first one. I agree with what others said above--read your butt off on GWE, read things over and over until you've sorted out all the details and really understand, post your questions over here--

and one more thing: make sure you have nothing to worry about with a partner who bailed. If you think there is any possibility of danger, take the necessary steps to protect yourself.

Yes, relax and don't make it more complicated than it needs to be, on your first grow, especially since you were thrown into it.

The very first thing I see, is that you will need to consider adding more perlite when you get to transplanting- other than that, keep your light at a safe distance and water with pHed water @6 -6.5.

It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

sorry to be a pain but what is perlite I don't even think I've used it to start with? So as long as that lights safe then I'm happy really..

You're welcome, Asho; we're here to assist and support each other. Just look up perlite on GWE or google it; you will be learning a lot!!

Asho- I'm on my first grow as well and was also quite anxious about it. Like you, I spent a good deal of cash setting it up, and didn't want to mess things up. I have studied the GWE site long and hard, absolutely the best grow site out there. You will be successful if you follow the site and use the KISS principle (Keep It Simple, Stupid). Don't overthink stuff, or try to build a better mouse trap, just follow instructions and you'll be fine. The folks on this forum are a wonderful help when you have questions. Just post!!
Im looking forward to seeing your killer buds!!

I think most of the growers on this forum experienced that kind of concern and inevitable over-thinking on the first grow. We are trying to keep track of so much new information and so many variables!!! But I agree, OlldDude: Long and hard study on GWE is what really pays off!!!!

Streching at this stage is usually due to lights being too far from plants. It's a balancing act, especially during seedling stage, as plants are delicate for the first couple of weeks. Everyone is nervous with their first grow but you have found the best site for solid information and help. Read GWE's tutorials to get a basic understanding and feel free to ask questions here. Welcome and good luck!

Welcome! I'd get a couple cfl bulbs for early growth. They can be within 2 inches of the plant and do nicely.

Okay, let's look at what you really have on your plate.. you aren't really out any money at all even if you lost these plants, seeds are cheap enough and as long as you have the equipment the money you spent is an investment, because it's yours and you have what you need. Plants can really tolerate a lot of mistakes, issues, weather, animals and everything else nature has to throw at it, inside under human care the chances of a plant's survival is greatly increased. This is the best place to be to get help and information about everything you are going to want to know, and seriously do not pay those rip off sites who claim to teach you to grow or be the best grower, I've seen enough of them sites thanks to others to honestly tell you that you can learn more from a $20 by Ed Rosenthal off from Amazon than you will paying out great sums of $$$ to learn less from them, including those places who have 'expert growers as Mod's to help you' because seriously it's people off the Forums from places like here who get some free seeds to help other growers. This is seriously the best site I have ever found to learn everything you want and need to know about all combined into these amazing well written articles, I even get the weekly email from NebulaHaze here by signing up for the weekly newsletter, which I enjoy reading, among some others I also get.

Don't ever let a company sell you on needing their additives, their products, etc... at the end of the day it will either work or it won't, how will you ever know if you have never grown it without it and then tried it with it to see if it really made a difference, and still then improving your growing area always makes a difference, so don't get sucked into thinking you need all this stuff... you really don't. There is enough people who have grown it under every light and condition known to mankind, that you won't be discovering this "never heard of product before that is taking the cannabis community by storm" because seriously someone has pretty much done it all and today the biggest things changing is being able to grow it better because of places like this educating people to become better growers by giving you all the information you need for free to become a person who falls in love with growing your own. That's the best advice anyone could give you right now to put you on the right track, in my personal opinion.
The only way to become the a good at anything is to read about it and learn all you can about it, and if it's something you love why not become an expert in it? The best place for anyone to start is at the beginning and make sure we didn't overlook anything, so let's go back to the basics.
