Hi. I'm 2 weeks into my first grow and have a question. I have an IP webcam in my grow tent to keep an eye on the girls when I'm away.
I've been doing my reading here on GWE and read all about the importance of light leaks and total darkness necessary for the 12 hours during the flowering stage.
My webcam has IR LED's that turn on in darkness...when my grow lights turn off. They produce enough light that I can see the entire contents of the tent.
I'm thinking this might cause a problem during the flowering stage....I've read that "green" light should be used if you have to do anything with girls during the dark hours, I would assume IR light could cause a problem.
So...does anyone know for sure about IR lighting during the dark hours of the flowering stage.
Thanks.
