Hello all master class grads. Chipmunk here. Does the master class focus on one way or method of growing ganja? I don't really want to change my style much because I supply myself w/top shelf ganja and don't have to buy from the ganja shops. I consistently get 1.5 ozs of quality bud/sqft of grow space. I don't think that is too bad, but I know there is room for improvement. Maybe 2ozs/ sqft or 2.5 like golfnrl did! Thanx

The class suggests coco coir if you're just starting out and haven't bought gear yet, but we've had students do soil, super soil, DWC, one student who tried NFT (he had already purchased the system before signing up), and one person we talked out of aquaponics.
1.5oz/sqft isn't bad at all! There's room for improvement for sure, but a 12oz harvest from a 4x2 tent isn't anything to sneeze at. Honestly, I'm guessing the change you need isn't something enormous if your weed comes out looking/smelling/smoking good but you just want more of it. If you post your setup and pictures of your 1.5oz/sqft plants in their tent, we might see something you overlooked. -
Thanx Sirius! Chipmunk here. I am getting ready to celebrate my 76 yrs of living and with that said I am truly an old school guy. I carry a flip phone that is just talk and text no web use. I have never taken any pictures of my plants or buds ever. I guess I never felt the need. I was a gorilla grower on my farm for many many yrs which I don't have anymore, had to downsize because of my age. I wish I had some pictures of bud to show the forum group from some of my grows then, football size buds, foot wide fans. Anyway, I started indoor growing maybe 4 yrs back and now am wanting to step up my game a little since I know it is mathematically possible. All the indoor skills that I have mastered thus far come from mostly reading your web site, great job on your part Sirius! Thus, the reason we are having this chat now. I currently am using coco loco mixed with ocean forest 50/50 and 20% perlite in 3 or 5 gal fabric pots. I do have a 5 gal plastic pot that I made into an air pot, it works great also. I wanted to stay mostly soil based because that is what I know. Change is hard these days! I use 2 tents. A 32in x32in tent with a spider farmer 300-watt bar style light and a 2ft x 4ft tent with a Hygrow 480-watt plate style light. I vent the 2 tents together outside thru a basement window using 6in exhaust fan. It's over 200cfm and can create negative pressure in both tents. I don't use carbon filter because smell isn't an issue. My temps are easy enough to control but humidity is something I don't mess with. It's usually 30-50 %RH. I use tap water that sits out for 48hrs and ph adjusted. I have been using Element Nutrients brand, its powder. I will stop using soon because it doesn't want to go into suspension well. I think I use reputable seed banks as well. I am an Indica or indica dominant smoker 100%. I have lux meter. I don't think I have missed anything. Thanx again.
