My older brother was a machinist. He made a total of 24 cannons with different bores. This is the last one of a pair that he made with the leaf. The leaf was a 50 yr. old leaf in a photo album, it was an 8" fan leaf.

What's it shoot? I had drawings for a pop can cannon but never machined it. Fill a can with sand as the round.

I've made tennis ball cannons but nothing like that...lol.

This one shoots 12 ga. slugs and tin foil blanks. My brother gave me some 2 oz. slugs he cast out of lead. Other ones made shot; golf balls, tennis balls, D cell batteries, 1 " round balls, 2 ' hollow slugs, etc. We use xxxx black powder. Fun Fun Fun.............................

I've been hit with a golf ball in the back. Made a perfect imprint and left a bruise that lasted about a week. I can't imagine what the velocity would be coming out of a cannon for crying out loud!! ROFLMAO.
