    Coco Questions

I recently had a friend tell me he was going to have to kill off a chunk of his plants because has no room for them all. My flower room is empty as I am growing some fresh moms from seed and waiting to take clones. I'm thinking I'll take as many of his extras as I can, transplant them, clone them, then flower them.

Only one problem... I've never used coco and have limited knowledge in soil either have no idea what I should add when transplanting to keep the plants happy.

I will be feeding them advanced nutrients 2 part connoisseur line. When needed, hand watering. 2 waterings w/food. 1 watering w/o food. Repeat.

I just plan to drench and drain with my favorite hydro nutes whenever they are thirsty so I dont plan to to put anything in the cocoa to feed these new Ladyfriends of mine but I'm more concerned about whether or not there is anything I should add any type of Beneficial bacteria or anything similar.

Like I said have no idea where to go with this, so if anyone has any knowledge to share, please share. I really need to transplant right away.

Thanks in advance... I'll thank you again, more than once without a doubt.

I grow in coco and do not add anything when transplanting. Coco is very forgiving but will leach nutrients from your solution before the plants can take it up. It is also almost inert and does not contain nutrients, whatever you give is what the plants will get. Depending on your starting EC you may need to supplement your nutrient solution with cal/mag. If using tap water the goldilocks zone for starting EC is .4. Bring your starting water up to .4 EC with cal/mag and then add your nutrients.
