In Saudi, my parents had a couple of those glass 5-gallons full of some sort of juice. Most of the infidels did. They sat around until whatever happened, happened and the adults threw a party and got drunk and fought. I sure as hell don't think they did any of whatever you have mashed up.

I thought they had a zero tolerance for alcohol over there. I read an article that claimed a person flew there from California USA, then had some sort of medical issue and was hospitalized. As part of his treatment there were the inevitable blood draws. His blood tested positive for THC and he was then prosecuted for that violation, even thought he was not in possession of any THC product.

I'll call the THC one a myth. Why would they be testing some person for THC? Has there ever been any sort of other similar case, maybe, possibly? And how long ago?
About the alcohol. We lived in an infidel community: apartments full of foreigners who did such things. They put a big concrete wall around us and a Saudi guard at the gate to sound the invading hoard alarm should we go nuts. We also had crepe paper Christmas trees and the Easter Bunny was always good for chocolate. It was all tolerated if kept on the down low. Figure, they were inviting foreigners with all sorts of hedonistic, non-Muslim proclivities into their country to teach them how to run a hospital for deeply Muslim medical traditions. They cut us some slack.
