Discoloration on leaves

Can someone help me to figure out what the light brown on my leaves are...my plant is 24 days into flowering. I'm growing in soil... temperature around 77 and humidity 45%... nutrient solution pH is between 6.5 to 6.8 each feeding...

Probably needs calcium and magnesium. Probably needs more nutrients overall or add bloom nutrients if not already to address the pale green color. If you haven't added any amendments to your soil it may be depleted from the veg period. Check out the tab at the top of the page, Plant Problems

I have been giving nutrients just not full strength.Can I add some Cal Mag during the 4th week of flowering?

Cal/mag can applied throughout the life of the plant. Double check the PH to make sure you aren't dealing with a PH issue. Apply the cal/mag at 1/2 strength and watch the plant. She's probably not making any new leaves at this stage of growth but see if the spots spread. Is your water hard or soft? If soft or your using RO or distilled water you def need to add cal/mag. If your water is hard it may already have enough calcium. You may want to have your water tested to be sure what's in it. Epsom salt can be used if you want to add magnesium only.

My PH has been between 6.5-6.8 ... What do you think can help so I can get some nice buds... Also should I be giving nutes every watering?

There is some good info there as well, maybe just a reminder but worth a look. According to that chart your PH is def in range for both calcium and magnesium uptake. How are you measuring the PH? If using a pen does it need to be calibrated? Do you water to runoff and measure the PH?

I use a pen and I do recalibrate it... I'm going to recalibrate it again today just to make sure....plus I use the general hydroponics pH test indicator and a color chart...and yes I water till runoff ... Sometimes I measure the runoff pH but most of the time I'm checking the runoff PPM to make sure the plant is absorbing the nutrients... I'm still learning and I guess I'm making a few mistakes here and there

I hope my comments weren't off putting. It sounds like you have things under control. So, a backup to your pen...nice. Chasing a deficiency can be challenge when all of the indicators are in range.

What kind of soil are you using?

Started with fox farm happy frog and transplanted into fox farm ocean forest...she started off nice and green and then lightened up

It's not uncommon for that soil to start off hot and then fade during flower. Happened to me back in the day.
What nutrients are you using?

I been using Lotus premium nutrients (powder). I water with plain pH water in between each nutrient feeding. Water every 4 days a little more than a gallon until some runoff

Lotus gets good reviews. I'd try increasing the nutrient strength and frequency. Everything else looks like you have it under control. How do you determine when to water?

My next feeding I'm going to increase the strength of the nutrients and I lift the pot to see how heavy it is...plus I stick a moister meter down in the pot

I don't know of a better way to know when to water than the lift and weigh method. The moisture meter is a bonus. Just a stab in the dark, do you have a fan blowing on your plants?

I have a spider farmer oscillating fan blowing up top and a little fan blowing towards the middle of the plant

Sometimes wind can cause plants to show brown spots on the leaf or area where the fan blows. Since everything is in range the spots may be from the wind. Has the problem spread? Has the increased nutrient strength changed the overall color of the plant?

Between nute feeds where does the water come from? What is its EC and what is the EC of the nute mix you are using? What pen were you using to measure pH? Most pens are not very good at all.

It appears likely the problem no longer exists but I suspect too low pH at the roots.

I use spring water.. I measure the PPM in the nute mix to what it says on the feeding schedule... and I did a slurry test and the pH was at 5.8... I'm going to order a better pen soon too because somewhere I'm not getting something right

I did raise the strength of the nutrient solution up to what the feeding schedule says... I'm hoping that'll help...the buds are still growing pretty good but I want to make sure the next 4 to 5 weeks go well

Spring water will have a high PPM before adding any nutes. You must take that into account when you calculate your finished nute mix.

A pH of 5.8 is very low. It should be much higher than that. May be the cause of you Cal deficiency.

I do make sure I test the pH and the ppm's after mixing... and do you know how I can raise the pH in my soil quickly. I read raising the pH of my water solution could help but how high of a pH can I go during this stage of growth, and will it work quickly?
