    autoflower not budding

I have two Jelly Donutz autoflower plants, 3 months and 3 weeks since rooting, with beautiful, luscious leaves! And no buds. They are in a tent with another autoflower, Blue Dream'matic, which has produced like mad! Reading one of Nebula's posts, I switched from 18/6 to 12/12 about 8 days ago. Any advice? Everything I read says they will bud when they get ready to, just be patient. How long with the silly things keep growing, I wonder?

Autos do what they want when they want. That is why they are called autos. Keep the light at 18/6 until harvest.
Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

Thanks, Ckbrew. We're going to watch and see. Too beautiful to toss them out. But will plant new, better-sourced seeds.

The 30+ autos I have grown all started flowering around week 5 or 6. Perhaps your AFs' missed the ruderalis gene set?

Well, I now know a little about ruderalis, thanks to your post, Allotrope 1000. You're one of a few folks who say it's in the genes. Sigh. They're beautiful leaves. Guess that's something.

If it's hit 3 months and isn't budding, it's not an autoflower. Sometimes seeds get mixed up, sometimes genes don't work like we think they are going to work. Now that you've flipped, it should start flowering

Thanks, Franklin. We'll just keep growing them and see what happens.
