I just switched to flower 12/12 and my plants leaves started to “claw” is what I read it’s called. I defoliated right before switching over. The leaves are staring to curl into cylinder and droop a little. The only thing I can think that could be the issue inline fan in my grow tent runs all the time to try to get the humidity down and because of that the temperature in my tent is always at 68F. Because of this the soil take forever to dry out.
I also have another plant in that tent that is the same type but isn’t having any issues. As you can see to the right the leaves are fat and not drooping. The leaves that are having issues seem to be starting from the bottom up.
These plants are hybrids I am growing in a 5 gallon fabric pot and I’m using fox farm ocean soil. I do have a circulation fan in the tent. A small dehumidifier that doesn’t seem to do much (I preordered an ACI dehumidifier but I’m waiting for that to come in). I am also using general hydroponics flora series nutrients at half strength.
Any ideas on what is causing the curling leaves? Suggestions? Am I on the right path? I am new to growing and looking for any advice to get better. I was told to water top down until 10% run off and to dump the run off.
