So I have been looking at my plants and I did some bottom Branch cutting for clones and defolation a little. But I'm wonder if I should remove most of the lower growth on branches so that all the energy goes to the tops I plan to take some pictures and put them up for thoughts. I also know the branches will still be growing when I switch them into budding. So if I remove some could I be cutting possible bud sites or should I just take off everything below the canopy that won't be coming up to the top

Looks pretty pro if you ask me I get pretty aggressive when defoliating. If it's not a bud/budsite, if it's too low on the plant, or if it's in the way of a bud/budsite, it gets the axe!

Does that work good or does it lower you yield? First grow so just wondering

I feel it helps my yield, because I'm opening the canopy to allow more light to the bud sites, and removing growth that is not conducive to success. I've left lower branches that had bud sites, way down low, and all I got off them was tiny little larfy buds. The plant expended energy on them for very little production. By removing unproductive growth, you allow the plant to concentrate it's production on bigger better bud sites. It's worked well for me
