HELP! Bud rot?

This morning I found this bud barely hanging on. Yesterday it looked good. Is this bud rot?

Bestest way to tell is to do an autopsy. 'Bud rot' starts inside the plant. Check the stems, too.

Not much stem left in the bud, it falls apart. The main stem looks good from the outside.
