My new landlord has a problem but won't listen to me so...There's no exhaust fan or circulation fans. He's got 3 quantum board style lights. A 300w in the middle and 2-200w on either side sort of angled in towards the center. The fan leaves have been dying off for the last 2-3 months. I say it's a combination of light burn and high temps. He had them at around 14" off the top of the plant until recently, plus the 2 on the side were angled in towards the center of the plant. I always thought angling lights like that would cause hot spots that would burn the plant as well? (Correct me if I'm wrong) and figure in steady 90°+ temps,I'd say that would be why all the fan leaves dried up,including all the way up to the buds themselves as you can see in the pictures. I know that fan leaves die during flowering but these have been like this since day one of it's 12/12 light cycle. He doesn't believe me, what do you all think?

You 'bout gave me a fit with the exhaust and circulation situation. I use QB's. 14" is cooking those flowers, especially without fans, especially-especially if the tent is ever closed with the lights on. I'm curious that he's gotten away with that much heat for this long and has only shown issues in flowering.
If your landlord doesn't believe you, what is his idea? Introduce him to Occam's razor.Bud porn makes everything better.
