What am i checking for dab, moisture? They were definitely done, any longer and i risked them crisping up. Maybe it’s cuz they were on the more fluffy than dense side of the bud coin. Only one jar is reading 63 rh , i was thinking of putting in an orange peel to bring up the other two jars to 60 at least? Thoughts on a peel?

My first grow last winter, i dried for 10 days , this time around it was a shit show trying to keep temp and rh level. Like i said , made a judgment call to trim and cure them early and I’m glad i did. I’m pretty sure i saved em from a brittle demise. Im burping but the rh is a steady 59 in two and 63 in the one i put a couple stalks in for moisture

golfnrl ,Thanks for that tip, going to give those two covers a spritz now! No they are not crispy. Another day or two and they would have been. They are just the right amount of spongey , not moist. I tested a tiny little nugget last night and I’m very happy, it was a strong effectburned great and i can’t wait to see how the smell and flavor enhance with time.

I’m glad about the buds not being crispy. It’s easy to remove moisture almost impossible to put it back. I speak from
experience.
Another painful experience, when you read that heat and low RH are the enemies of THC and terpenes, believe it.24"x48"x95" Gorilla Grow tent, AC Infinity fans, exhaust, filter, humidifier, and controller, HLG 350 Rspec, 50/50 Coco/Perlite, Autopot system, BlueLab PH Controller, CX Horticulture nutrients full line, growing 1 Killer A5 Haze Manifold
