Does purple haze plants actually turn purple and how long does it take?

What does the seed provider website say about it?There are 3 things you must check everyday when growing in hydro:
1) Water level (How much h2o is she drinking in 24hrs)
2) pH level (change over 24hrs)
3) ppm/EC level (How much food is she eating in 24hrs) -
make sure its not a bean stalk. those get real tall and they dont " WIN"Comment

The color will come in flower if it comes at all. I have grown this strain three times and not a purple in sight. It's just a name.
Current Grow: 1 Liberty Haze, 1 Sugar Black Rose, 2 DDoS #33, 1 Purple Haze
