I by accident discovered not only who broke into my home, I found out the other houses they hit as well. My own phone after reset wasn't synched with the security server so went to re-add it to the system and got a message I was at my limit for my subscription. Being that the limit is 20 devices and my family combined is only using 12, it was time to clear out old unused ones which was when I discovered a bunch of features on the administration menu that I haven't had to access in over a year. It showed me where my phone, Tablet, and PC has been each day and what caught my eye as I was about to delete my daughters old phone was that there was data showing it being used and where its been! That phone has been deactivated but never wiped and because its rooted, the application I have installed cant be wiped or even viewed unless you know what to look for so factory resetting it, it will reinstall right after if someone tries. Anyway, when I saw this, it made me think, so I looked up the data for March 3rd and 4th and BINGO, not only did it trace the route the thief took through my home, it also showed my neighbors houses as well who were hit the same day and day after. I went to check the box I put all old phones in, and the box is missing. The fact I am able to see a complete route taken in my home, and that the box is gone, shows me the thief broke in at another time and so far, they been using my daughters old phone for 2 months now and I have the new sim info to boot! Looks like I'm taking a trip to the DA's office tomorrow. If I were to go to my local PD first, I most likely will lose my temper with them when they spout the "Its a civil matter garbage" Not to mention the fact the idiots there might try saying its me since the phones registered to me. The DA though is my bosses boss so most likely will get much better results.

I'm looking in it as well. I have some services that require a days notice, unless medical. This is good to know.

Well that will teach you an important lesson why I don't run Wifi camera's inside of my house... or outside my house for that matter... Though I am so very glad it was your eyes and not mine that got that image, they say every person you dream of at night you have seen at some point in your life even in passing... which as the article I was reading on that brought up the point of where then does the images of things in nightmares come from, and now I am going to be able to return with that answer, thanks to you...

I got one better one from amazon,https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 then 10 more similar from two different vendors at fraction the cost.http://www.ebay.com/itm/182346766623...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I was attempting to set up the fist one just a few minutes ago, and I am going to be making a lot of brownies the next few days because of it. I don't thing I will ever be able to get that image that is forever burned into my brain. I thought I was accessing my own camera when in fact it picked up one of my old (VERY OLD) neighbors and lets just say I really really want to forget that has ever happened =(

This is going to sound terrible on my part, but seriously how much more fun is it than to give a peeper free wide open access to your windows and let them crouch down in the bushes to hide... it doesn't take effect right away and when it does, it's a slight irritant, after 30-60+ minutes the word "Unbearable" doesn't even hold a candle flame to what it is like to have on you and showering makes it run to everywhere the water run on your body, including the bottoms of your feet. After I encountered I had it and what it was, OMG... I thought why kill off such a great bush, I can move that, the poison ivy, the poison oak, and all the other lovely plants I could move up near the house for any peepers that might in later to come stop by to check out what is going inside my place. To sum it up, it is truly an unforgettable beautiful arrangement of nastiness I've got going on all around in places someone might look at and see as the "perfect hiding spots" outside of the camera angels. How little do they realize I made blind camera spots just for this very reason in those locations...

One of the bushes for example has these very tiny thorns and seriously these are sharper than a rose thorn, and unlike other thorny things... these thorns will work their way through heavy cow hide gloves and jersey gloves underneath that before you have trimmed on them for an hour! When you plan to trim them, you plan to buy a few packs of gloves and a couple pair of tweezers and a few boxes of bandaids, they are seriously that bad ass. But what I really love is how I landscaped it all together so you don't just get the burning bush, you get the thorns, you get the horrible smell of geraniums to keep the mosquitoes out of the dense bushes and plants, I mean layer upon layer of honest to goodness nastiness... People don't sneak into my bushes and sneak out... they sneak in and they come busting out of their on a full fledge run after a bit of time and I've heard word has gotten around, although I can't imagine why...

I spent a lot of time around all kinds of people, war veterans from different wars, I listened to thieves, burglars, etc... took some classes on stuff relating to locks and security, and started to see a real problem with things like neighborhood kids harassing old people in their homes late a night, some peepers in windows, etc... Well to put it nicely, my grandma had a real special gift of being able to grow anything when it came to plants, and she handled her issues of pranksters in the best way she knew how to deal with them, give them plenty of reasons to never again want to choose her windows to hide under or her yard to cause mischief in. Word spread really fast about her yard, she even grew cat nip for awhile and the cats even learned enough lessons in her yard they left it alone! Thus I know what I know works, yes it is a little bit of an investment in time and caring for some other plants... but when you see someone pop up out of your bush and run away screaming... PRICELESS!

This comes directly from the description of the camera you provided the link for:

    Features:
    3. 6pcs IR LEDs, up to 6-meter IR distance

Note "UP TO 6-Meters IR Distance" how far is 6-Metes? 19.685-Feet... So it is point blank telling you at best it can see 20-feet in the dark ahead of itself... With mine I am seriously looking 2-3 entire city blocks down to see if anyone is even walking towards me, I can hear rocks under car tired 1/2 a block away and I have the clarity to watch even a mouse flipping over leaves looking for food in the IR night vision. In the end it boils down at the end of the day in my eyes, as do you want some grainy imagine of the person like you see on those cheap surveillance systems on those crime shows of "Can you identify this person shown here in this grainy video?" or do you want a picture clarity you can run through facial recognition software to pinpoint the person? In the end though maybe 20-feet of night vision is all you need inside your house, and a moving security camera won't attract someone's attention at that close of range to get them to hunt down the rest of your security system to take it along with everything else next time. No matter what I sincerely do hope this all works out for you. Cheers.

I discovered what else got stolen from the break in. My cultivators license and log book that shows what each plant is. I only just realized when I found out I had a breed of plant that looked female and ended up with 9 males so went to update the information, and discovered it missing from the folder on the side. Even though I was only growing 27 plants, I can grow up to 99 which is overkill in my opinion, not to mention don't have the space liol. Anyway, the two are gone but luckily for me I remember what the plant numbers go to so making a text file this time around until I buy another book.

Well I myself got one of these in the store itself, and I am not sure which one online has "sound"... but I will tell you this, I hooked up the RCA cables from it and turned on the TV, and seriously I can watch people 2-3 blocks away from my house, I can clearly hear the wheels of a car crunching gravel under its tires from 1/2 a block away, and if you get within its audio range if you try to whisper I will hear you more clearly than the person standing next to you. I was so impressed by a single camera I bought the 4-camera's with the DVR to record it all 24/7 and seriously I watched a mouse at the back of the property picking up and turning over leaves one night looking for food... I couldn't believe it. The clarity, the range, and the sound on the single one which has sound... overall I couldn't complain about the quality and price, not sure what you will get with another brand, but I know what I get with Bunker Hill Security.

Seeing and hearing is one thing, it only helps later when trying to determine who did what... now on the other hand you should consider some up close things for protection should you ever need it... the short of it is you can really put together a non-lethal very effective series of things should you need them. I like the hand pump pressure sprayer filled with pure Ammonia, with hot peppers soaked and strained into the spray for it. The short of it is is this, once you get sprayed, your eyes burn like fire and makes it very hard to see 3-feet in front of you, every breath you take has you begging for mercy and as you try to get away you think twice about coming back. I have powdered peppers mixed in a plastic bag for if I would need to grab and blow it into someone's face... Hey it may not be a taser, etc... but in all the years I've lived in some really bad places in the cities I live in, my various non-lethal security systems and things have always done plenty to get the point across for others not to try it ever again once someone experienced it the first time.

Around my windows I planted "Burning Bush" it gets an oil on your clothing that burns 100x hotter than any of that Icy Hot stuff for muscles, and should the person be dumb enough to wash the clothing with others, well it spreads to everything, everywhere... I think it takes 4-5 washes back to back to get rid of it. Well I have tons of layers of protection for me and mine, I know people say it is silly and nobody needs such levels of protection... but at the end of the day I've been in situations where my door was tried to be broken down both civilians for over an hour at one point and law enforcement with a battering ram in another when I wasn't even home again taking well over an hour, and in every case I've found myself in... my doors held up for over 1-hour of repeated batterings with them trying to gain entry unsuccessfully, my widows will completely visible and unobstructed from visible views, nobody wanted to go near them to try to gain access, not that they could have had they got to that point. Even now local law enforcement refers to my place as Fort Knox, because it is seriously so secure and best of all it doesn't look like it would and it didn't cost me that much to ensure I worked with the landscape and building to make it stronger. You can go on YouTube and see how taking out the little tiny screws in your door's striker plate and replacing them with 3-4 inch screws can make a difference with someone just using their foot to kick in your door, a thief can spend 5-mins on YouTube and pick all your cheap $10 locks, and using a piece of thin metal or plastic to shim the other half, including padlocks. Thieves look for easy targets and target rich environments, and if you don't give them a reason to look elsewhere... they are going tell their friends either way and so control what you want others hearing about your place and its security. YouTube is a great place to learn how to do all the DIY security for FREE and is worth it in the end...

I am just saying if someone got inside my house I would actually freak out... if they got inside my house when my family was sleeping... I don't think I would be able to sleep at night until I knew I had the problem resolved and them protected. There is even classes for kids on "What to do if you are ever abducted" where they are taught things like tearing off a small button to stuff in the ignition of a car so the person can't put the key in to drive away with them, and seriously I'd look up the term "human trafficking" because people of all ages are taken all the time for that purpose even in the USA. Perhaps it may seem to much, but I have personally met to many people who have looked back and wished they had taken security more seriously sooner before the unthinkable happened; like those who don't put a battery in the smoke alarm. To each their own, but at least I will sleep better knowing I at least tried to warn you...

PigSquishy I was considering getting 8 of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/381834032936 . And a new alarm system. Found out how the alarm system got fried. The old phone landline phone box I rigged up as a closed circuit. which was meant to set of the alarm via relay should someone cut it thinking it was still a phone line, plugged a cord from a nearby outlet frying the system. It wasn't meant to handle 110 volts, only 6 volts. I'm going to put in some diodes and resisters on the next system should that be tried again. Whoever did this, was obviously not my neighbor who had been breaking in the past. Only found that out last year when I changed internet providers and the new router picked up my daughters stolen wifi tablet trying to connect. GPS located it in the home behind me. It also opened my eyes to what my daughter had told me months earlier, where she woke up one night and before she fell back asleep, saw a man she thought was me watching over her. This was before I put that system in and realized someone was sneaking in my home at night and dismissed it as a dream she had. Turned out they were unlocking the door by opening the side of the air conditioner flap in the window. That was the first thing I secured too, and alarmed. First time it went off, caught the guy hopping over my rear fence. I have already reinforced the door plus have a 600lb power chair against it. That door wont be forced open any time soon. Figured out my neighbor who was doing it in the past would see us leave using the wheelchair ramp in the back. Whoever did this last Friday, didn't care if anyone knew or not. Going to attempt to put up the new tent today and salvage what hasn't died.

I am so sorry to hear of this happening to someone, should you need someone to discuss upgrading your security with, by all means feel free to message me... I've been raided before and had the law enforcement show up and use a battering ram for over an hour before they were finally able to gain access inside without me there, otherwise I've always laughed it would have taken at least 8-hours. When it comes to door locks, securing doors, etc... I have a reputation for my stuff being really strong and holding up to anything and everything put up against it... Some things are simple and cheap to upgrade like securing your door jam and making it stronger by some simple upgrades such as replacing your door latch striker plate with a MAX Security one that has two 4-inch screws that go inside there the door latch latches into and then another two screws to secure the top and bottom of the strike plate as well. A High Security door lock and deadbolt combination by Brinks at Walmart for front and back doors all keyed alike will get you back usually about $50-$80 depending on how fancy looking you want it, and its worth it when I've seen them hold up even when the inner guts of the locks are destroyed from trying to break down a door.

You might also look at getting yourself a "door brace" it is basically a Y and the fork at the top fits under the door handle, and the bottom rubber wedge sits on the floor as the door is tried to be forced open it secures itself against the floor. there is much high high tech versions too. A four outside camera Day/Night system by Harbor Freight would set you back about $300 with a DVR that will record 30-days non-stop high def before it has to wipe the memory and start again, so detailed at night you can watch a mouse in the yard in clarity.

Then there is the best security systems for the poor man truly the scariest and the cheapest and yes I also know this is the most effictive one of them all... You simply make a sign with a Skull & Cross Bones system on it... Above and below you say "There Is Nothing In Here ... Worth Your Life" and tape it to all the doors and widows in the corner... just have a little tiny 2" x 2" sign saying it... nothing big or fancy, don't make it attract any attention until you are there at it reading it... I will tell you what there is nothing scarier... If you post a sign beware of a dog, you know you have to deal with a dog... the guy says a 357 Magnum guards this house, you know what to expect... you see that sign... and you are left to imagine the answer for yourself... and it will always be the worst things you can dream up is on the other side of that door... then you leave the door unlocked and let the person wonder what awaits them.

uber assist ride? We have access to paratransit but each person each way/stop is $4.25. So if I multiply that from home to first school $4.25x3 = $12.75, then to next school $4.25x2 = $8.50+$12.75 = $21.25, then back to home another $4.25 + $21.25 = $25.50 then repeating that to get them home $25.50+$25.50 = $51.00 a day. Multiply that 5 days a week = $255. Multiply that for a 4 week month = $1020. That's as much as my monthly rent and out of my price range.

It doesn't, but was related to the topic of the new attorney general stating they were reinforcing the cannabis laws again and at the time of my original post, there were authorities over at my home which was never put on record at the time or even after and was not sure back then what it was about other than that the forced or attempted forced entry happened to be the grow room hence My response in the white house post and why I moved that part of the discussion to a separate post. Because of all the weird issues, I still don't know why it was done, but just in case felt it important to put all info or it would obviously look bad on my part to only list one side of things and not all of them. What I'm trying to point out, is even though its legal here, the authorities might actually use another excuse to stop me for legally growing. For instance, another person in Fresno county also with a clean record and with medical problems, choose to cultivate 10 plants, and not much later brought up on Trumpt up charges and lost more than just their plants. (No pun intended )
