    Is this normal?

I switched to 12 hours of dark a month ago and this is what my feminized plant looks like at the tip. Should I have more evidence of buds by now? The plant doesn't seem sick at all.

Normally it takes about 2 weeks after the flip to show pistols, but that does look like it's behind where it should be after a month. That being said it may just be a slow flowering strain. What strain is it?

More details would help us diagnose and find a solution. Temps, rh, distance of lights from plants, nutes, ph...but it does seem behind.

Just spit-balling, but double check that the ph of your growing medium is sufficient for your plant to be able to absorb nutrients efficiently.

Thanks all - I'm so new it didn't even occur to me to supply background. Snow White feminized from nirvana bank. Growing in coco with nutrients (as recommended on this site) and ph checked. 100 watt led in tent on 12/12 for a month now after six weeks from seed and in veg. Temp a bit cold - maybe 60 in a basement. Definitely not too humid. Light about a foot away from tips. Leaves all seem healthy.

The culprit might be the low temps, ended up with tiny yield after issues with heater at night, temps down in the low 60

I've wondered about the temp. I have a ceramic heater I used during veg.

Plant looks healthy despite being behind in its flowering. I haven't grown that strain I'm afraid so I can't speak to it specifically.

Any chance you have a light leak? Is your tent in complete darkness for 12 hours each day?

When you say 100W LED, is that actual power draw or "equivalence"? If the latter, maybe low light levels are to blame.

It's a good question. My light setup is the standard starter LED setup that Nebula recommends somewhere on this site. Could be low light but that same light was great in veg. I'm thinking I'll turn the heater back on (which will bring it to 70-75) and see if that does the trick. They are healthy -- just hoping I haven't missed some window!

Temps up are good! If it's any indication despite low temps at that same stage my yield was small but ended up with tight dense nugs albeit smallish but potent and flavorful. Watch trichs closely as harvest window approaches to maximize your yield
