Statistics on THC absorption through skin

I am going to google and do some research, but I am wondering how much THC can get into your system, simple by tending to the plants you are growing.

If you guys have read my passing a urine test thread you'll know why I'm asking.

Both hubby and I are now off all marijuana until we get through this testing process. For hubby, may take a few months of being clean. We only have a week or two left on our grow. We need to harvest and dry/cure. We are planning on wearing gloves and face masks, but I've heard that just being in the same room with your plants late in bloom can cause it to get into your system.

    Any theories on this?

I've never heard of it. I don't see how it would. Especially wearing gloves and mask.

I just ordered a cheapo hazmat suit. LOL He is going to wear that, gloves and mask. I'll wear gloves and mask. Once we get through the harvest and trimming and hanging, I don't think there will be much to worry about during the drying and curing, except to wear the gloves and masks whenever handling.

I read about a test study, I think in Germany?, ten people rolled one joint a day for ten days. No other contact with the stuff. They all tested positive up to 20 days later.

having done a TINY bit of research with plants like Arnica montana, Comfrey, Calendula..steeped for 3 months (minimum) in oils

the older we are the less we absorb through our skin
most material needs to be reapplied frequently
if being in the same room in late bloom can get into your system a lot of people wouldn't be typing on the forum
and as much as I would love to make cannabis skin products-and make them good and strong-I am not convinced any cannabinol/cannabinoid get through the skin otherwise I would be on it. However I trust Arnica montana-brewed properly, used properly IS effective and I do make it. It was used during WWII in tablet form and has a history.
like Royal Nugs says..gloves & mask

It's likely the terpenes in the air, if it's anything more than psychosomatic.
I do know that they are not testing for THC, but something else, It escapes me right now. An enzyme of something that the THC converts into.

So unfair. Even cocaine and heroin only stay in your urine for 4 or 5 days. Much worse drugs than pot. Damn f'ing pot can stay in there for weeks, even months. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Thanks Tika and everyone else for being so supportive. We, by we I mostly mean hubby, will not even get to enjoy our beautiful grow for months to come.

Geez. A few days last week, I was trimming leaves at my bud sites. Ok, I also licked my sticky fingers a few times. I have not smoked, vaped, eaten, nothing in almost three weeks. I just did the pee test and tested positive.
