another question

One more question for all of you. My seedling was started from a kit that included a nutrient packet which I mixed with the coco disks.
All good so far. My question is since I added more coco bedding 3/4" should my nutrient mixture still be adequate?
Sorry if I sound like a new father but trying to get a quality plant. plus I'm excited!

Was the nutrient packet something you dilute in water or a powder you sprinkled on top ? I wouldnt worry about the little packet it came with, just start with 1/4 strength of what it says on the packet or bottle of the nutrients you are going to use for the whole grow for a week and then 1/2 strength for a week and then full strength after that
The dilution rate of nutrients is based on how much volume of water it's going to be diluted in, the volume of medium just dictates how much water mixture you will need to use to adequately do the job....

Seedlings need nothing but clean water until they get their first set of leaves, after the cotyledons. Even pH is inconsequential unless your water supply is unpotable. Anything other than clean water upsets the natural bio-micro-thingisms that are naturally in the seed. Figure, a seed that drops in nature gets nothing but water and gets nothing from the soil until the roots get going. It doesn't even get buried. In my opinion, those nutrient packs are gimmicks and completely unnecessary. As are the plugs, but some people dig them.
If I could make a friendly suggestion. Start a thread for your grow and stick with it. Be creative. When you have multiple threads on the same grow, you can forget information and it lets others know what you have done, haven't done, and plan on doing instead of rehashing.

With coco, usually you give the nutrients directly in the water, right? Or is this some other kind of nutrients? Did the nutrients happen to come with any directions?
