    Show it off!!!

Lets see your work!!! Do you have a beautiful plant your proud of? Are you using a new training technique or trying a training technique that you've never tried before? Lets see what you got and what your doing. It can be something your growing now or something you grew in the past as long as it's your grow. No judgement because your way is your way and if it works for you then it's the right way for you. SHOW IT OFF!!!

I'll start us off with this Northern Lights from my most recent grow. I used these branch clips (Bud Clips) but I just bought some cheap brand on Amazon that was $5 for 40 clips. I also used a new to me pruning technique. The branch clips are awesome just scary to install on branches. But if you learn how to use them correctly then they're better then tying branches down in my opinion. This really opened my creative mind to different training techniques. Any questions just comment. Now let's see yours!!!

If your asking about my Northern Lights then yeah it's a little of both I guess. Probably more mainlining because I know fluxing has a more grid like appearance. I left 6 main branches on though instead of 2 like the pros do it. I've never topped more than the main stem but thinking about experimenting more with that on my next grow.

After using the clips similar to the ones you use I noticed a slow in growth in most cultivars during the vegitive stage. Right where it bends it flattens the cell walls and slows its growth a bit. I use them to slow the growth on tall culivars. Works great in a small tent. Buds from the bottom to the top. Most don't get past 18 inches tall from my experience. Haven't got the fluxing down, to much time.

Right I noticed that as well about the clips but it does make the branches thicker where the clips are and I think that it made them stronger to hold more weight. It does cause a little stress so that's probably why it slows growth some. I noticed my branches started splitting at the clips 2 weeks after installing and I got a little scared but the branch just healed itself and it was ok. I left my clips on and never took them off because they got stuck. Yeah fluxing takes a lot of time and patience so I think thats why I kinda started with it but then changed to more of a mainlining approach.

For your first I think it looks pretty good. Remember not all plants grow big buds. They look ok from the pictures but what nutrients do you use for the Veg Stage and Flower Stage?

When they say your plants can double in size during the first 3 weeks of flower they weren't lying. The plant on the far right is almost 6 weeks into flower so it's past the stretch stage, but the other 3 plants are halfway through week 2 of flower and at the beginning of flower they were just barely in view of the bottom of the camera. Now they have grew out of view of the top of the camera. There's 3 Northern Lights Photos and then 1 Moon Rock Photo in front of the camera. I use Fox Farm Nutrients and I add in Advanced Nutrients Big Bud and Overdrive during flower. They are under 2 Viparspectra 100W LED Lights and in a 2.5ft x 2.5ft x 5.3ft tent.

I’ve done a few things with autos in 5 gallon buckets…
There are 3 things you must check everyday when growing in hydro:
          1) Water level (How much h2o is she drinking in 24hrs)
          2) pH level (change over 24hrs)
          3) ppm/EC level (How much food is she eating in 24hrs)

            Hey, @ductwizard
The tinfoil is to help keep the lights from warming the top of the pail. My LEDs don’t project much heat (by design), but keeping the light off the black lid helps to keep things a wee bit cooler. Pics 2 and 3, my buckets are painted white for the same reason.
The strains are either White widow or Northern lights. I can’t recall as these are from 3 years ago.

Ckbrew, thanks. I think i pulled 1lb from each of those plants. They measured up between 25-29% THC.
