I can't believe it's been 4 months already. Time for another grow!! This time I'm breaking it down into 2 separate grows for videos sake.
1. Video 1 - will be the continuation of the 3 way nutrient royal rumble with a bit of a shake up

2. Video 2 - will be a "How to Get Started Growing for Under $450"


I'm glad I FINALLY got one of the freak show genetics to grow and it should be a female. She looks healthy Looks funky super excited about it. It only took like six tries and 12 seeds but we're finally here.😅

Still waiting for the autos to pop. Hopefully they do... If not, I'll replace it 🤷♂️

S1 + XXX 60/40 peat/perlite. Earthbox nutrients 12gallons

Fruity Freak - Flushed Coco from previous grow. 70/30 mix starting with GH 1.4EC (It seems a bit high but the Coco is just soaked with Cal-Mag it'll dilute some of the nutrient mix to about 1.0 EC. Maybe 1.2.

The Terpy - Flushed Coco with 10tsp of Grow Dots for 4 gallons of substrate.This one is the wild card. I wasn't going to do it but since I had such poor results with the grow dots in the last grow I figured I have to do something to give them a try I spend $60 on these stupid nutrients and they couldn't even get me through a month of bloom before they crapped out. I'm going to see if it's the nutrients or if it was just the genetics.

Strawberry OG Cookies by Ethos and Supernova by Super Natural Seeds - these are growing in the same Earth box that I just finished the grape caper and the sour orange in. I tossed in a bunch of worms a bunch of castings for a week and then I added some fresh nature's living soil Original formula. When I planted the autoflower seeds I took about a solo cups worth of happy frog soil and planted the seed in that I didn't want to plant it directly in the hot soil. I gave it a bit of a buffer.

The Strawberry OG Cookies has sprouted but she's looking like it's a bit spicy 🔥🥵 in there for her. I did use Virgin happy frog soil to fill the center but you know microbes, they probably populated that soil within the first 24 hours and started going to town on the nutrients not to mention the rest of the soil is super fertile. Should be okay but I always worry with autos, they are so finicky. My last one was super nitrogen sensitive.

After 4 days, the Supernova seed hasn't popped. I dug it up and it needed a light sanding to get it to break open, in the process I cracked the seed 😅 I had to plant another. User error. I didn't have a small box I could line with sand paper to toss in there and bounce it around. I tried gently holding it.... Didn't go so well 🤷♂️

I trimmed up the Terpy, got rid of some lower branches. I don't want her as crazy busy as the last. I want a bit more space. I was worried about mold, but it ended up being fine.

The Fruity Freak in the GH fared the best with the transplant. Least amount of shock. I think I'm gonna start feeding my seedlings because they get shocked when they go into such a nutrient rich soil. The fruity freak was going into just Coco with a little calcium, magnesium and GH trio in there and she was much happier.

Compared to the S1 and XXX, they both got bad transplant shock. They went from bare soil to incredible microbe and nutrient rich soil. They freaked a bit.

I got new arms for the cameras, now they're more stable, no more jumping images from day to day. It's going to make the videos more pleasant to watch. I like this new set up.
I got the AC Infinity controller in the center still doing the lights, humidity, and temp controls.
