In the 7th week of flowering and was wondering if anyone can tell me about how much longer should I wait before harvesting? This is my first grow and still learning.

I'm a first timer too so no expert. But I'd say that you factor in your preference too.
Maybe don't go only for "perfect harvest" but also with things that you like... Are you looking for a more euphoric effect ? Couch Lock? Pain Killer ? etc.
It's my understanding that early harvest provides more of an active and mental effect
While mid harvest is the most... balanced high ?
and Late harvest for more of a body high
Trichomes and Pistil color are good indicators on what stage you are.
Don't forget that your quality and effect is not only from harvesting but comes also from proper drying and curing.
And of course ... Genetics and strain specifics.
I write this as a personal note too, to remember what I said for my own time to harvest.
I am currently in 5th week of flower.
I wish you a good harvest !

Nice looking grow for a first one. Great job.
They are looking pretty healthy. I'd wait a couple more weeks but keep a close eye on the trichomes on the buds.
If you want to get high wait until you see first amber then harvest. If you want it for pain relief wait for more amber and if you want it to help you sleep go for more amber. That's a rough guide but the strain/genetics will likely make the most difference re effects.
What I think is most important here is that you dry it slowly around 60⁰F & 60%RH and put it in mason jars to cure....or you could try other methods. There are a few ways to deal with harvested buds and they all seem to produce differing but often desirable results.Flower Room: 11' x 7' x 7.5'H, 480w AC, 13gal/day dehumidifier, 1.5gal ultrasonic humidifier, 60gal (27gal usable) nute tank, 16" pedestal fan & 18" wall fan. Lighting and climate automated. Hand watering.
Veg Cupboards: Two 4x2x6H cupboards. SF2000 Evo in one SF7000 in other. Climate controlled and automated. Hand watering
Aeroponics Low Pressure Bucket: 20W LED. 5 clones & 20W LED 11 clones
Lights: Mars Hydro FC-E1200W, SF-7000, SF-2000 evo in flower room.
Medium: Coco/perlite, 7.2gal pots, no drains
Current Grow: 5 x Photos Franklin's Orange Zkittles x Sour Diesel in flower room, 3 Franklin's White Widow x Sour Diesel Clones, 13 x Orange ZkittleZ x Sour Diesel clones in Aeroponics buckets x 2.

I bought some cute bags I'm gonna use after drying

I would wait till more of the white hairs have curled in and turned red and I would use glass mason jars with canning lids instead of plastic bags. My experience is that bags don't work as well. Read up on the Curing part of the website. That is half the battle to get smooth smoke. Nice buds! Congrats!

Those look great for a 10th grow, Id say they are kick ass for the first grow, What strain are they? Have you stopped feeding any N

You'll save on nutes doing it that way but I don't think your buds will be any better for it and you'll be locked into a harvest time regardless as your plant will be dying fast in two weeks time without nutes.
There may be some advantage as from what I have seen, or at least think I've seen, is that stressing the plant brings on earlier trichome development but at expense of flower growth, which won't matter if your flowers aren't growing any more.
Anyone else noticed this?

Yes, I have. I just got done putting an auto LSD at 80 days/soil in complete darkness for a day and a half. It wasn't going to grow bigger buds anymore but the few remaining white hairs and clear trichomes matured literally overnight. Made it think of Siberian winter I guess. A lot of plants are like that. I grew up in apple country and no one would eat an apple till after first hard freeze. Sugar/flavor doubles after a freeze.

I have done a lot of testing on that in hydro and the plants usually stop eating when they are ready to harvest and if you choose to flush they seem to mature a little faster but you loose some bulk. So I agree. never seen a farmer flush their corn crop or their apple trees.
