Heat to get rid of mildew?

    Hi,
I have mildew on my plants and read a few articles, one said the most effective way is to use heat, I think I can generate enough heat (100 degrees) if I turn off my exhaust fan and let the heat from my lights (one 4' t5 one 5-watt chip 600w/276w actual draw LED) build up. Is this safe for my plants for just a few hours during their dark period? they're varying sizes, one 20" and one 14" do you think this would be ok?

Anything ove 85 degrees will start to kill your plant 85-95 can only be acheaived with 1500ppm of co2 100degrees will KILL YOUR PLANT!!!!!!!

Is your plant veg or flower? What's ur relitive humidity and air curclualtion??? 1/4cup hydrogen peroxide 500ml water in a spray bottle and lightly spray the mold and rub it off Gentaly then spray again (do not spray buds!!!!) if your getting mildew/mold ur relitive humidity is way to high. You need to fix why your getting mildew or it will keep comeing back

My plants are veg but just tonight I switched to flower. I got them as clones and I've had them for 3 weeks and only one of them (NYC diesel) has the mildew so it's not my fault it's the guy who sold them to me and I haven't seen them spread. I wiped it off with a wet paper towel what should my next step be? I don't want to buy anything but I will if need be.

Yeah I think more heat will accelarate the mildew....
I would guess that you have a fan circulating the air in the room.
if you don't . you should set one up

I have 2 fans, one in-line pulling air into my carbon filter and also pulling air into the tent (super powerful, I can feel it pulling air through my vent through about 20 feet of tubing+my tent) and I have one clip on fan (the white clip on one that's suggested in the gwe website) that's running all the time on speed 2 over the plants.

only set the fan up after you do the spray a few times and make sure it's gone, then setup a fan. This reduces the amount of the spores that will fly everywhere.

The solutuion I told ya about lol 1/4cup hydrogen peroxide and 500ml water, it could even be a half cup hp if it's really bad. But try 1/4cup 1st

Using mildew contaminated weed is a HEALTH ISSUE!. Never use mold or mildew laden pot.

My plants are still in veg (Just switched to flowering today) so i'm trying to get rid of the mildew before they flower, if I can't get rid of it is it still a health issue to use all the bud in the one plant that's infected out of the 5 I have in cannabutter/edibles?
