    Pruning/new shoots/growth

    Hi Guy's n Gal's,

At what stage of your grow cycle do y'all stop taking new shoots/growth off your plants?

I currently trim this way to hopefully get my plants to concentrate all their bud-producing into each "main".
I stop trimming them at 21 days into flower, I don't know why. I think I read it somewhere. My issue is that new shoots still grow for another week or so after the 21 days, and I haven't yet been brave enough to experiment with taking them off that late into flowering for fear of ruining the plant. Any help/advice from you guys with the experience would be much appreciated.
    Thanks.

You should be able to remove the new growth you are referring to with no problem. I call those stems, suckers. If you haven't already, search pruning and how to lollipop over on the GWE web site. There's some good guidance for timing etc.

The last decent trim I give them is no later than 3 weeks past flip. I still pluck leaves and remove those suckers down below. Sometimes I don't trim much and sometimes I don't remove much at all. Still seem to get decent yields and buds either way. Humidity can start to climb a bit high though with lots of foliage and air movement gets critical if it's a jungle but if you can keep on top of it then your main goal is to get full light on your buds. That seems to be the key.

Going by that, it seems I'm not too far off with what I'm doing, I will do as golfnrl suggests and have a brouse on GWE pruning,
      Cheers, Thanks.
