Odd Growth - Lockout, def., or other opinions?

I've been having some slow, od growth in my colos - day 5 of flower. The growth has slowed some, but nothing has changed. Watering about 2-3 days depending with 68 degree pH'd water, without many feedings.

I switched to a P-K solution (.5 - 14-12 ) at half strength, and my environment hasn't changed much. 72-80 degrees, air in and out, good support, no pests.

It seems to be effecting newer nodes so I believe it to be mobile nutrient deficiency if lockout isn't culprit. Symptoms are exactly the same for both.

I'm just in this post for opinions and experience with telling lockout/deficiency apart from another, and a nod in any other direction if you see something different. Thanks guys.

I take it you growing in soil?

What sort of water is it and what pH are you giving it?

    Pot size, any runoff?

Could it be that the soil has just depleted a lot of its N?

Bluey Correct , Im growing soil. No extended release added aside the organic matter within.

I run off of well water, it comes in at ~7.2 pH and I drop to ~6.3 when watering. I have been skipping pH every so often to try and give a comfortable range.

I did however flush before flower...

Id say pot size is 5-7 gal (1.5 foot x 1.5 foot, best guess). I water slowly until runoff, slowly as in giving a quarter of the application every 10-15 min to allow saturation.

In your experience Bluey, is there a way to test against lockout or deficiency? Are there tests I can do, or cheap tools?

I ordered a moisture meter (for what it's worth), an analog pH probe for soil (not just my water tests), and light meter (lux) to better gather information. I also have a bag of Recharge on the way (Mycorrhizal fungi plus some beneficial microbes). I planned that Microbe feeding out before the growth so it was intended.

It may be showing symptoms of low Nitrates as a result of the flush but should start to recover in about 8 days or so from the flush.

if you can do a tea I'd give it that if you have some good compost lying around.

pH inputs should be fine in good soil.

So I'm thinking likely just a temporary deficiency caused by the flush. Deficiency will likely be all nitrates but not too bad as your well water is probably high in many minerals so probably just N which inhibits the take up of other stuff too, pretty sciencee hey.

Bluey aye that's a good nudge in the right direction. It's the only difference, and adds up. I have an instant compost tea being hauled in Friday so I won't fret too much. Appreciate ya 🤙
