    Cannabutter Recipe Review

Followed the cannabutter recipe from gwe. Used 3 oz of trim to one pound of butter. Made brownies the easy method from this site as well, with the butter amount cut in half. When I get back from the fucking moon I'll give a better review! That shit is crazy strong! Ate half of what you see missing from this picture.

    And it lasts and lasts.

If I wanted to fuck myself up & demotivate myself for an entire weekend one cookie of a Friday evening/night would do the trick.

Nice. Its been a looong time since I've tried any brownies. I'd try some again but edibles don't seem to do it for me. I can't seem to get the dosing right. I make gummies using Nebulas recipe maybe I should try brownies.

I make large cookies that take on average about 16 to 20 grams of green butter. I use desiccated coconut, oats, butter, bicarbonate soda and soft brown sugar to make them. They are yummy!

The cookies sound delicious. For gummies, I start with hash oil. I make it with about an ounce of bud in the Magical Butter Machine. From there it goes into the source Turbo Extractor. An ounce of bud makes about 5Ml of oil. That's what goes into each batch. I have no idea how potent it is and not sure if I could even get close to being accurate in a home setting, but I'd like to know. I follow Nebula's gummy recipe. In it she recommends starting with 7 and that she uses 15 drops of hash oil for the recipe.
That sounded weak to me so, first gummy batch I used the whole 5Ml and that's the way I've done it every time.

I just infuse the butter into the very dried cannabis by sticking it all in a large pot of water slowly simmering.

I then extract the butter that is now packed with THC and other goodies from the cannabis using a cheese cloth, (but be warned, use gloves as this extraction is readily absorbed by the skin and can fuck you up) into a shallow dish, this goes into the fridge which makes the butter separate from the water and solidify on top. It's then removed and goes into the freezer.

          Voila!

Green butter packed with THC ready to be added to any recipe that requires baking for total & final decarb.

Edit. Don't use good bud. You can use just the leaves from a male plant and it works fine, just need a lot of leaves and the butter needs to be extracted at very close to boiling point or at boiling point for maximum potency.

golfnrl I've used up to 2 ml in a batch for a special occasion, but 5ml? Man!

Bowhunterwoody I laughed. So the 5 Ml is a little much?? Maybe that's why my friends tell me they've cut the gummies in half or 1/4ths. IDK.

Started collecting the left overs from the last harvest today. Buds are super dry and snappy. When I cut the branches some go flying . I've ⅔ filled an 80ltr box and pressed them down hard. Hoping to fit the rest in for some hash recipes.

Bud only in this box...sticky af still. Been drying now for over 3 weeks at 20⁰C and 50%RH. Should get a couple of kilo at least.

It was a jungle in there.

Ice bucket bags are on the way.

you want a really nice high and not one that has you curled up like a baby for hours.. Have had good luck with Nebulas recipe but I use bud only, some where from 1 oz to 1.1/4 oz per pound - FYI brownie recipe call for oil a lot of times, but you have butter, there is a conversion out there for this, any how the end result is more butter.

Please do not let the wife lick the paddles, she will never let you forget how high she got....

There is also a few schools of thought on the decarb temp.

The extraction technique at 100⁰C does do something as at that point when squeezing the cheese cloth the skin absorbs something that brings on the shakes and anxiety in me. I wouldnt call it a high by any means, it's unnerving and a weird body feeling. Unbalanced for sure.

I've always just baked at the recommended temperature for whatever I'm making, typically 180⁰C +/- 20⁰C and you always find yourself 'there' after 20 minutes to an hour.
