    MJ pollen

My outdoor plant (see Big Girl post) ended up with maybe 30 seeds, all on 2 particular branches. Most were immature but I have some that look viable.
This was my first outdoor plant, but I have many years of indoor growing experience.

I know Hermies! I got burned by Hermies twice and I definitely know how to find those little bananas. I saw no evidence of any male flowers. I'm 95% certain I didn't miss that.

Legal state and I know other people in the neighborhood grew some but I didn't talk to many.

So, how far can MJ pollen travel?

A long long way just with the wind. Over a mile easy as. Your culprit was probably much closer.

Buds can hermie internally on the stem. You never see those until after harvest but sometimes theres tell-tale signs of a tiny bit of standout out green growth on the outside of the bud.

I have read that MJ pollen can travel 2000 miles if the wind is right for it.

I suppose it could travel until it stops travelling or becomes unviable, eg. It gets wet.

Conditions would certainly need to be correct for it to travel that far. I agree that it was most likely a hermie as wild pollen would be all over it.

I guess I'll never be certain.
But I looked it up and word is, "Marijuana/Hemp pollen can travel 10-30 miles"

Hermie or other pollination, I was quite fortunate that I only got a few branches with seeds .

It's hard to tell sometimes when you get very little seed where it came from
