    Twenty20 photo run

Hi everyone, thanks for checking out the next grow! I was super blessed to be picked as a r&d grower for Twenty20’s Snowcaine V3 seeds. I hurried up to finish my grow area and fired the beans up right when they arrived. I’ve changed a lot since the last grow. The lung is bigger and better climate controlled, I added another light for a total of 300watts in a 2x4 (2 sf1000s and a new vipar p1000). I am moving away from fox farms soil and nftg nutes to Promix bx with Gaia nutes. Trying for a water only grow, but I’ve got some left over nftg if I notice any deficiencies. Fingers crossed it’s not too many variables at the start of a new grow!

I’ve got 5 going, they are currently at week 3 & 2 veg, I did two rounds of germination a week apart. Pheno 1 & 2 are 3 weeks old but vastly different. Pheno 3,4&5 are 2 weeks old, all good, similar to each other and pheno 1. Pheno 2 is the runt who put out weird leaves for the beginning and threw some regular looking leaves 2.5 weeks in. I almost culled her, but glad I didn’t now! Pics to follow…

Pheno 4&5 at 2 weeks old. They will wind up in 3 gallon fabric pots. I will likely transfer at the end of the week.

Photos with only 3 gallons of soil will need to be feed, and expect PH swings
My issue with the cloth pots is the bottom and outside ~3" of soil stays dry (unusable)
        Happy growing

I run photos primarily in coco and I wouldn't attempt it in anything smaller than my 7.6gal black plastics. Even then they are totally root bound and need frequent fertigation to produce around a pound of top notch bud.

It should be noted that I have limited height and tend to grow small plants. I don’t go for quantity but quality (but higher quantities of high quality are always welcome 😂). 5 gal is the biggest container I’ve used indoors for photos or autos in my 5ft tall tent. I use 3 gallons with autos often in a 4ft tent. They will vegged for 5-6 weeks which should limit their size as well.

That's a very good point re limited grow space.

Dude I grew snowcaine v2 about 4 years ago outdoors. I'll see if I can find a pic on here. To this day the stinkiest as in skunky smelling weed I've ever grown. You could smell her from 100 yards away. Great smoke.......that I remember.

Love it! I have not grown any snowcaine but have tried quite a few of Twenty20’s autos and photos and they have all been 🔥. Looking forward to a possible carbon filter killer!

Happy Saturday evening to everyone! Dropping an update on the Snowcaine V3 grow. All good so far, and things are picking up. Pheno 1 was topped and fed, P2&3 were fed, P4&5 were transplanted. All got a drink of recharge this week also. I decided to go with 3 gallon plastic pots for P4&5 after thinking about what Mr Rwise noted with the smaller fabric pots. Pics to follow…

They look happy. Pheno 2 is being a little stubborn. If it was a auto i would have pulled it. Photo's seem to be more forgiving. Are you going to take node 1 off pheno 1 ??

Gracias Mr dirty. Pheno 2 has been slow and stubborn since it tried to crack out of its shell. It took 2 weeks to get true leaves, she had a weird mutated first set. I would have culled if it wasn’t for it being a R&D grow, so I left her in the name of science so T20 could see what all phenos did. As for P1 I’ll likely let the first node grow and try to clone them (unless they shoot up to the canopy). I’ll clean up any lower growth before I flip em.

Pheno 2 emerged on 9/14 somewhat normal. Did not see any thing after first of leaves for a bit and then this was her on 9/20

          then on 9/28

Happy Sunday everyone! Here’s an update on the Snowcaine V3 grow… week 4&5 veg for the girls depending on who. All are doing well. Over this past week pheno 1 had training wire added, p3 was topped, p4 had lst clips, 2&5 are going el natural. They all got a calmag treatment this week and a second watering with mag salt. I just gave them a round of recharge this evening. Early reports are they are hungry so I’ll be feeding this week. Depending on what the growth looks like I’ll b flipping in a week or so. Love a happy grow room. ✌️&💚y’all!

Pheno 2 looks like it made it out of her slump. All are looking well with no tip burn. I'm liking not having to mix up nutes!

Yeah man she decided to join the party! Still a little light green so I’ll throw a little extra fert this week(since I went a little light on her last time).

I am really enjoying the no mixing liquid nutes also!

I'm a old out door grower trying to adjust to indoor. Seems less is more. I tend to be over zealous

Happy Friday y’all! Shit kicked into high gear this week! Girls are getting tall and the flip is happening this weekend. I did a slurry test end of last week and it came in a little high on the 5gals but rather spot on for the 3gals. I noticed some discoloration b/t the veins on P3 (in a 5gal) kinda like cal/mag deficiency. So the 5gals got a watering with a lower ph (6.1), held steady on my bubbled 6.8 water for the 3gals. I’m going to top dress tomorrow with their next watering after checking ph again (and make any necessary adjustments).

Hello again on another happy Friday! I hope y’all have had a great week! The T20 girls are kicking ass and taking names! This past week I flipped them to 12/12 after I gave them all a top dressings of Gaia power bloom 2-8-4, worm castings and mag salt. Watered in with slightly lower ph water and a few days later they got a round of recharge. I removed some large, bud site blocking fan leaves and any older lower growth/larf. Took a few cuts off of the plants I did not top. I had to rearrange and move a light up due to the untrained phenos getting tall. I wound up bending the tops with lst clips since I am worried about the stretch! I kinda wish I would have topped them but oh well. Have a wonderful weekend! ✌️&💚
