    Light burn

    Howdy John boy,
The damage that I see looks more like some nutrient burn to me. Light burn, in my experience, happens mostly on the upper leaves closest to the lights and is more wide spread on the leaf, some times in the middle of the leaf. The brown leaf tips is more of an indication of over feeding. Are you growing in soil or hydro? Also what kind and wattage of light are You using and how far is it above the plants?
Over all Your plants look healthy and look like they are ok.
I grow in a hydroponic set up and I use CFLs. I have had both like burn (usually during the vegetative stage and during the flowering stretch) and I keep them fed and have a little 'neut' burn. I trim off the light burned leaves, but no the 'neut' burned tips.
    Good luck with your grow.

WD2 thanks for your input I'm growing in soil and I am using CFLs also. I've got my light now 2 feet away I thought it was light burn cos my plants took a stretch and where touching my lights I am using 250w CFL 2700k. Thanks for your input mate really appreciate it what do you think I should do then if it's nutrient burn? I've had them on just PH water for 5 days now

I try to keep my lights about 4-6 inches above the plants. If You keep the light too far away, they will stretch towards them, just gage the distance by placing Your hand under the light and feel the heat, if it is uncomfortable to Your hand, then it is too close for the plants (from the GWE site). Not being a 'soil' person (except for a 'dirty' mind, LOL) I do not know how One should handle the nutrient burn, other than what You are doing.
        Good luck with Your grow.

What is ur RH because that can play a role in how much nutes ur plants drink if ur rh is low ur plants drink more if it's normal 40rh than that's not the issue

I use soil and I find the best way to get rid of nute burn is to fully flush ur system with ph water and let it dry out then feed with half nutes. Do u have any perlight/ how's ur drainage because u dnt wanna over water ur plant and drown em. I ask about perlight because it's awesome in soil I use 1/3 and it doesn't matter if I add 1 gal of water per pot over half flows out for really nice drainage

The parts of the leaves that have turned color can no longer pull in sun so I pluck the discolered part of the leaf off. This helps figure out if u have any more nute burn and still allows ur plant to pull in more light unless u could use some defol then just pull the whole burnt leafs

Awesome! That will really help the plants and also when u flush ur soil this way they dnt drownd. A lot of people dnt add enough areogation and they end up over watering there plants

                        Thanks.
