Hi everyone, thanks for reading! I am wondering if anyone uses their well water treated with an acid neutralizer on their plants? Not just weed plants but any and all plants. My well is acidic and I am looking to correct is using an acid neut. that contains calcite which comes limestone and is mostly calcium. I have exhausted google and have not found anything directly on a.n./calcite and plants. I have found a few studies that use calcite power and or calcium to support plant growth with positive effects.
Just for clarity, I am not installing a water softener, and I understand the effects of sodium chloride on plants. Some folks who install acid neutralizers need to soften their water after treatment due to the a.n. adding hardness to already hard water. I am fortunate in that regard as my water is soft. (But acidic soft water destroys your pipes and appliances so that’s why I’m fixing).
I hope everyone is well and staying cool! It’s hot as hell round these parts today!! ✌️&💚
