    What size grow tent?

My question is how many plants can I really fit in a tent 2x4x5? I'm looking into buying a tent that size to grow 4 plants at a time. Is that ideal for a tent that size or should I grow only 2 or 3 plants at most in there? I was reading a tutorial on GWE where Nebula Haze grew 4 plants in what's supposed to be a tent of the size I mentioned but the 4 plants in there look to be in a much bigger tent? What do you guys think? I'm growing a single plant in a 2x2x5 and it already filled up the tent I vegged for 2 months my last grow I vegged for 1 month and it looked like I could fit 2 plants in there but I gues since I only vegged for 1 month it didn't fill up like this one.. so maybe that's the key grow about 3 to 4 plants in a 2x4x5 tent but only vegitate for just 1 month then flip to flower. Should I get a bigger tent or would that be sufficient space I'm going to copy that tutorial except I'm going to use soil not coco.. it's the tutorial that says yield about 4-7 oz..

You can do 4 plants in a 2x4x5, you just don't want to let them get too big. I grew 4 auto-flowering plants in one and still had room for more. However, each plant was about a foot tall and a foot wide at harvest. To copy a similar size with photoperiod plants, you would want to start flowering them when they're only 4 weeks or so old. The longer you wait to start flowering, the bigger the plants will get in the flowering stage.

This is the size they were when they started flowering (we had a 110°F heatwave without any AC and they were pretty droopy at the time, but should give you an idea of how big they were):

    They were approximately 8" tall

They grew quite a bit after they started flowering. Here they are at basically full size:

Auto-flowering cannabis plants at week 6 - cozy in their tent!

If you let them get bigger you would need to grow fewer plants!

You can definitely expect 4-7 ounces if you start with good genetics, follow the tutorial and use a 250W HPS!

Ok thanks fo your reply. I was wondering because it looks like you have a lot of space left now I see why the plants where small but good yields.

Yes, there was a lot of space left. I wish I had grown a few more plants - I think I would have gotten even better yields! Or if I'd been growing photoperiod plants I might have let them get a little bigger first
