For the first 2 weeks I used an STS spray that had mixed reviews, once a day to try and trick one of my female plants into producing pollen sacs so I could give the pollen to my other plant, creating the first prototype seeds of my new strain idea, Valkyrie Kush.
However I soon ran out of STS and I’m not sure if I got pollen sacs yet. I immediately bought a colloidal silver spray, a different compound, and have sprayed 3 times daily for about 3 days now. I have not seen much evidence of pollen sacs, because I only see white hairs. I will post pics when my phone camera zoom lens arrives off Amazon tomorrow. But for now, do I still have a chance of getting pollen in time for me to get my prototype seeds this cycle or will I have to start a new grow, based on the fact that I only started the new product after 2 weeks in the flowering stage, and am so far just seeing white pistils?
I don’t expect to have the perfect genetics on the first try, but I would at least like a chance to see my grandchildren seeds for the first time. I’ve never been a plant grandma before.
Also I’m aware that both of those products make your plant dangerous to smoke, so I’ll only spray one and cut it once I get viable pollen sacs. It’s not worth the risk!
