This is a hermied plant from a hermied seed. She was only 1 foot tall, but check out the size of the buds. Is the one on the left of the top picture.

Had to readjust my LST hooks. They also needed a haircut. Tomorrow they be 5 weeks from seed. Coming along right on time.
BTW, This is the tenth grow in the same soil. This should answer the question of weather you can reuse soil. I use Roots Organics soil.

kingfish What do you amend with between grows? I have soil from my last grows and have had paralysis by analysis thinking about how to approach reuse. I threw some left over worm castings in with it - it’s FFOF and ran acidic; and from advice from this forum I got some dolomite to mix in.

ezmaarc assuming that you didn't have any problems with the previous grow. I pull out the root ball and all the little root clumps. That is all I do as far as cleaning the soil. I fill my next pot and sprinkle diatomaceous powder all over the top and let it sit for a couple of days. That will kill all the little larvae that might be lurking in the soil. When it's time to plant, I treat it like new soil. I'm sure at some point I may have to replace it, but I haven't had to yet. My next grow will be number 11.
