Grow lights vs High bay lights

I’m trying an experiment with lights. I have plenty of LED grow lights but trying something. I have put 4 300w high bay lights in 5x5 in flower room. 2 of the lights set on 3k and 2 on 5k set caddy corner to each other. Plants don’t see an average k it’s seeing the red and blues in the 3 k. Gonna see if one outdo the other. I think like I said the plants getting both Ks from bleed over so don’t think I will see any difference under each light. I have monthly harvest so after few harvest will see what’s happening. I’m doing this to see if Grow attached to lights bunch BULL. Right away have found they run a whole lot cooler than Grow lights. Price is less than a third of grow lights. I have used expensive grow lights for 8 years so I got a clue as to how they grow things. I bet most think I’m crazy but we see.

So I have 400 dollars invested in 4 lights 300W with adjustable 3k,4K and 5k. Most of my LED grow light experience is with FGI grow lights and Blackdog which to get 1200w power cost a whole lot money. I know if we talking Veg. Room I would move up to 6500k or even above but this is just in flower room.

The only difference I see in the 3k and the 5k is with the back of my hand I can tell the 3K warmer but I can’t see with eyes.

I ran a grow using 150w highbays on dimmers mixed with 80w floods and 150w of reds in flower.

I measured the overall K output, without the reds, at around 4850k, they claimed 5000k.

Yields were up there, plants were strong but I had a problem and lost most to mould, not because of the lights.

I got rid of them. Grow lights are better re efficiency so less heat. Better lights all round the grow lights.

        Flower Room: 11' x 7' x 7.5'H, 480w AC, 13gal/day dehumidifier, 1.5gal ultrasonic humidifier, 60gal (27gal usable) nute tank, 16" pedestal fan & 18" wall fan. Lighting and climate automated. Hand watering.

So far would disagree for sure on the heat of Grow light to high bay BUT it is Jan. Outside and colder than a Well Diggers Ass and I was one so I know. LOL. I will have to grow through a summer to really know. Winter season easy 100 100 temp and humidity outside make indoor grow tough in summer. A/C blaring.

Quality grow lights are manufactured with the latest most efficient LEDs and are made so the spectrum meets a plants needs, no wasted photons.

            Hi-bays are not.

My floods were hopeless in regards to efficiency. The hi-bays were a bit better but no match for the grow lights.
