    Grow equipment storage

Hey guys and gals, I hope everyone is doing well! I’d like to collect some opinions on how to store grow equipment, particularly lights, tents, and fans. I grow in my garage attic in a makeshift lung room. The temps in summer and winter are too extreme without it being completely finished and hvac controlled so I only grow spring and fall.

My question comes when the grow is done and I shut down. should I break all the equipment down and bring it in the house or do you think it is ok to sit in the garage attic with no temp control? The highest it’ll get up there is 110-115F, and lows single digit to zero. First two grows I broke it all down, next two I left it. I just cut my last plant and have about 1.5 months until I can fire it up again unless El Niño kicks our ass for longer.

    thanks for reading ✌️&💚

I would'nt worry about the tent as much as the light perhaps under those high temps for long periods ya may want to store those in a cooler area.

1 3x3x6 tent- used in late spring for seedlings both veggies & weed. I have 2 viparspectar 450r for that tent.
    I use a t-5 & 54watt CFL for seedlings
Sometimes i use plastic sometimes i use fabric grow containers

How do those temps affect the other stuff stored in your attic? I might make an exception for the electronics but the other stuff should be Ok. I would probably leave everything else alone. Just my .02.

It's your nutrients you need to put into a cool dark place where temperature is pretty stable. Same with pH calibration fluid.

I wouldn't be too concerned about anything else unless you get really high humidity then I'd get the tent and electronics out of there.

Thanks for the response y’all. I had not thought about the humidity. I will pull the electronics out and likely leave the tent. I have always brought the nutes, ph meter, and a few other temp sensitive items inside.
