    Mixing up Neem Oil.

    Hey all,

So, I have looked online and found conflicting recipes for mixing up Neem Oil. It's my understanding it must be mixed with a soap, to act as an emulsifier.

To add to the confusion, the purity of the Neem oil and type of soap was recipe specific.

The pics below is what I have to work with. (Both purchased at Walmart). On clearance I might add!

Oh.... as a side note I really hate. Walmart. I really do. Thats a whole other topic.

    Anyhow! All suggestions welcome?

The a couple of different types you can buy when it comes to need oil.

The agricultural variety typically has an emulsifier mixed in so it will just mix with water no problem.

The other is pure neem oil and you'll need to add the emulsifier yourself for it to mix with water properly.

Follow the instructions if it has them.

Edit. Just try adding it to the water. If it doesn't mix just add a few drops of liquid dishwashing detergent and it will then mix. Dont buy anythong fancy just the run of the mill stuff your mum uses.

Does anyone have a recipe they have used with success?

I don't have any problems "Yet". No bugs.

I did have a horrible spider mite infestation two grows ago.

I've been more careful this time. Washing up before I go into the tent. Ect...

I'm putting all the blame on her!

I don't use the stuff, because it makes your weed taste like shit.

Never intentionally, but I did get some on them once. I haven't used Neem oil for at least 10 years ,just don't like the smell.

I have not sprayed them. Besides being a little more yellow than I would like I don't see any problems.

Full dose of Mico nutes and Calmag.

        Glow big 6-4-4
        Tiger bloom 2-8-4

        Following the FF nute schedule.
